The whole event was well organized. The line up was great.
Day was great. Beer tent could have been alittle closer to the stage. Camping was great a back exit during the day would have been appreciated to go back to our traliers. We plan on coming back next year if you have some big names.
What an EVENT!! The Kinsmen club who organized this event need to be commended for their hard work. It was organized to the very end. They thought of everything. The location was perfect, the parking was perfect, the camping was perfect and the entertainement was the best. There was ample washrooms, food, drinks and even the beer gardens was big enough to hold the crowd that attended. The weather wasn't that great but it didn't rain. I have been to a number of outside events like this and have not encountered one so well planned in Ontario as this one was. Even leaving at the end....no one was in a panic to leave as there was lots of buses to get everyhone to where they needed to go. Best of all Beveryley Mahood, George Canyon, Doc Walker & Johnny Reid. Even the new and up coming has a specatular performance. The Trailer Park Boys did an excellant job of MC and gave everyone the laugh they needed. WAY TO GO LUCKNOW!! I will be there next year!!
Johnny Reid, Doc Walker, George Canyon and more the line up was phenomenal! Performances were amazing. I would definately go back! Only complaints they should have told us in advance that chairs wouldn't be allowed right at the stage, I wouldn't have brought mine and autograph line shouldn't have been cut off so soon, Doc Walker barely had anytime at all to visit with fans, when I am in that line I am aware that I may miss part of other performances.
Apart from the rain the concert went over really well. There was a good turn out and the entertainment was well worth it i would compare it to bayfest only more calm in a way. I would definately go again.
This was a great experience...the organizers did a great job. Everything was well marked so we had no trouble finding our way around...even the camping field, they named the roads after the artists (Walker Rd, Mahood Ave, Reid St. etc) & they were numbered reserved lots. There were shuttles that went back & forth from the campground to the concert entrance constantly all afternoon & evening (it wasn't too long a walk if you preferred to walk). Lots of portable toilets that were well maintained throughout the campground & event field. The folks in Lucknow were very friendly with an easy going manner about them. There was a large licenced area with very reasonably priced $4 beer. There was great lineup of music which could seen & heard from anywhere in the grounds. I would definitly go to a concert in Lucknow again.
This is a great venue! Well organized, well run. Johnny Reid is, of course, amazing!
What a fun weekend !! Music was overpowering on the female singers, couldn't hear their voices as well as the men. Drinkers always ruin the fun for people that don't drink. Would we go again.... yes... the performers were fun.
Wonderful time at the concert! All acts were great! Especially loved George Canyon and his band--WOW they were Awsome. If you don't know his music, get connected. Would have liked a program for the day. Maybe next year? Venue was excellent/service outstanding. Better signage for first aid/beer tent etc., would have helped a bit. Too bad Johnny Reid was a half hour late, though. Tough for us old folks who were way past our bedtime. But the day was soooo worth it.
Great job Lucknow! Will for sure come back next year. The event was set up very well!! A great idea to have 12 busses at the end of the night. Getting back to our vehicle was very quick!! The performers were awesome. We went to see Johnny Reid!! Tartan Army!! But EVERYONE was awesome! Had a great time!
Music in the Fields was great! It seemed very well organized for this first time event. The lineup of entertainment was phenomenal. We will definitely check it out next year!
Had a great time. Well organized, great talent, could see that everyone worked really hard on this event right down to the details. The only thing I could say if you wish ideas is the minor detail that many of our group would have loved a coffee. Thanks for a great time.
Lucknow's Music in the Fields Rocked. The whole day was so awesome. It was Fun filled from start to the Amazing finish. River Junction Band is a band to be watching the are going to be big. Tara and Alex where so great. George Canyon was so spectacular. He was so nice when I got his autogragh. Doc Walker was Rockin. They kept you pumped up. And last but not least Johnny Reed was so soulful and so freaking amazing. Didn't want it to end. My sister and I enjoyed ourselves so much. Can't wait for next year.
All of the performers were great. We were there from the beginning and really enjoyed the River Junction Band.....and wow they are from Lucan!! Everything was great....my only complaint is not being able to take in anything to eat or drink. What about diet restrictions???? There was no healthy food choices available.....which meant for a long day for a person with diet restrictions......They even made me throw out my apple. This is a big concern for me and I hope that some better choices are available next time.
The music was good. But we had to leave to catch the last bus to get back to our car before Jim Cuddy was even done. J. Reid is good, but I was more interested in hearing Jim. They should have had more vendors, it would have been nice to get a hot cup of coffee.
I bought the tickets for my husband for our 39th Wedding Anniversary which is June 20. We hadn't attended an outdoor concert for years and didn't know just what to expect. We found the music was extraordinary and even though some was not to our ordinary listening we found it very entertaining. The security was very friendly and efficient. The food and drink prices were reasonably priced. The weather was almost perfect. We had a wonderful time. What more can I say
Of course Johnny Reid, Jim Cuddy and Corb Lund were fantastic, but I was really impressed with the local band Midnite Ryder. The sound was great, lots of talent in the band!
The Sadies and Corb Lund Were Awesome!!!..........Confused about Serena Ryder and Daniel Lanois.......They were good but out of place......Jonny Ried and Diane Chase OKAY.
This event, with camping, shuttle buses, preferred seating, well organized, chairs allowed. It was So well planned and with Fantastic entertainment I would never hesitate to return with a dozen of my closest friends!!!
