Jurassic Park In Concert Tickets

At the start of the show, the conductor addressed the audience and encouraged us to clap and cheer for things we like during the performance, or characters we enjoy watching, etc. I think what should have immediately followed this statement is “BUT ONLY WHEN THE ORCHESTRA IS NOT ACTIVELY PLAYING PART OF THE SCORE.” Too many of the best musical parts of the film were drowned out by people whooping and clapping. Would it ruin the fun if we had someone up front lift up a sign during all the moments where silence is encouraged? We could have them wear a dino costume, and maybe even dance a little bit.

Totally worth the watch. I don't particularly appreciate the ticketing process but the show itself was worth it.

They were bang on on every moment in the movie, with exact live background scores which felt no less than original and in some moments better too! I loved the experience and will surely like to see more such events.

This was one of the most amazing experiences I had. Never watched anything like this before so coming here I had no expectations. The orchestra delivered such an amazing performance. I was blown away. This is definitely something to check your bucket list.

The 1st time I experienced an orchestra accompanying a film at Meridian Hall was for Amadeus, and it was amazing, so I was stoked to have another opportunity to see another film with real orchestra. When I saw the promo in the Koerner Hall newsletter email, about the 30th Anniversary of Jurassic Park, with orchestra providing the wonderful John Williams score I immediately bought tickets. The pre-show talk was very interesting, and the movie was awesome!

Such a fun date night! The crowd was so interactive and fun and the live music really elevated an already excellent film! Hope to see more experiences like this in the future.

Could not truly enjoy the beauty of a live orchestra performance as the screen was too bright, too large blocking some of the talented musicians, and movie was being too loud which was quite distracting. I would've enjoyed it much more if perhaps there were certain clips of movie without playing the whole movie. Quite Disappointing !

The orchestra was awesome paired with the Nostalgic Jurassic Park movie.

Having the orchestra play along with the movie is a great way to view this classic movie

What a great performance. Our seats were incredible (ORCH4) however it did limit us from seeing the entire orchestra. My only suggestion for anyone looking to see upcoming shows would be to book farther back!
