K-Days used to be fun, not anymore. Highly overpriced (gauging comes to mind!) in all areas, gate admission, parking, food/ drink prices and rides. Concert headliners have become also-rans, activities inside the exhibition halls are diluted and seem uninspired, and the first nations events are tossed out to all but a few tents by the goldmine. Poor, very poor. K-days staples like dream home, lotteries for gold bars, shopping or gas for life are gone, and a single 50/50 ticket costs a ludicrous $5.
Thanks for reminding us not to come back for a while...I rather hoof to the Stampede, where I pay similar prices, but get a whole lot more to see and do!
