The concession/merchandise stands were not capable of handling the size of the audience, as a result there was allot of congestion getting in, out, around the lobby/entrance and through to your seats. Signage was also poor.
We expected a slightly higher cost for licensing etc. however, it cost $41 for a bucket of popcorn, 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of Bubbly which was grossly expensive in my opinion, not to mention if paying by debit/credit you were forced to include a tip of at least 15%. They also were serving alchohol which, personally, I thought was a bit awkward at a kids themed concert.
Most of the merchandising items being promoted were labeled as 2019 (with exception to the newest KB 40 CD), for a concert taking place in 2020. I get it, the tour started in 2019, but this should also be reflected in the merch.
The 4 performers were amazing and full of energy throughout the entire concert. They were engaging with the audience and certainly got everyone up and dancing. The best part of the show (IMO) was the dancing dad's contest. We were however surprised by the playlist of songs as most of the set featured songs from the KB 39 or 2019 instead of the newest KB 40 or 2020 songs. Perhaps this is is the reason for the 2019 merchandise???
The acoustic quality was poor and crackly, the special effects were over done and at some points many people in the audience were covering their eyes on account of the blinding and intense lighting effects.
We likely will not attend future KB concerts and will think twice of attend similar events at this location.
