Kim and his band sounded awesome. Superbtight band that still kick's ass after all these years. If you love Kim mitchell and have never seen him live go see him it's a great time. Kim is simply a great cdn musician and a timeless classic.
Great show, started too late, and ended too quickly
I saw him in Slave Lake, Alberta. He rocked this small town like no tomorrow, played all the goodies everyone wanted to here! Well done!
Seen Kim 3 times this year (2010).......... Huge fan ! He is as always one hell of a show! BUT there is some thing about an out-side concert that just is WOW !! It was cold in Edmonton BUT he played on !!!!! I LOVE KIM MITCHELL..........One day i want to meet him face to face.
this being my forth time seeing kim, I still say that i will see him any time. in top form as always and despite the cold, he was still able to play as great as ever.
Kim Mitchell was awesome!! He is entertaining, funny, talented and a hellufa guitar player. When you can sing along to all the songs you know its been a good night.
I'm not a big rock fan but I did enjoy the show, they were layed back and joked with the audience and the music was great. My husband is a big fan and loved it.
The show was awesome. I've seen Kim Mitchell three times now and each time he rocks the place. I was impressed with Rock N Roll duty. I loved the extended guitar segments he put in it. If he comes back again I will go see the concert again.
Always on top of his game! Sounds just like studio recordings and you dont get that level of quality with a lot of artists. I will see Kim every oppertunity I get because he is just that good at what he does. Kim is what got me into rock music when I was a small boy and I am always grateful to my dad for introducing me to Kim's Music.
Let's face it, Kim Mitchell's no spring chicken; but he's still got it all. Well, maybe not the hair, but we didn't miss it.
I've seen plenty of concerts in my life. Plenty! This show was up ther with the best of them. Incredible guitarist. Incredible band!
Kim Mitchell was simply outstanding. Down to earth, looked like he was having fun. Amazing singer and guitarist with a wide range of rock excellence and songs that stand the test of time. He had fun on stage and his band was tight and a real joy to watch. Wow, what an outstanding Canadian musician and song writer.
Hello, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. We credit the lack of attendance to the long weekend with which it coincided. Personally, I believe if it were held the day before (Canada Day), and outdoors (not sure if river cree does open air shows), (but they should), and top it off with a simple tasteful fireworks display, would have been the way I would have planned. The bonus for us was short drink lines. But had a splendid time none the less. Kim and Sas didn't miss a beat, and I will gladly pay to see either of them if they returned!!! My wife and I agree the staff at River Cree were excellent. This was my first of many shows to be seen here. Thanks!!
I have been listening to Kim Mitchell forever and now I finally was able to see him in person. The band was great and Kim's voice was perfect. It was a two hour show. It was good to see him in a small venue and the crowd was wonderful. This is one concert I will never forget. When Kim walked out on the stage he shook hands with the guys in the front row which was nice to see as not too many bands do that.
Great sound and venue to really hear Kim's fantastic licks. Slash, move over....Kim is King in Canada. Peter on bass was as solid as ever. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy not-stop genuine rock sound for a full 2 hours! Go! Kim Go!
Kim Mitchell is always a great party band and I see his as often as possible. Barney Bentall was also very good. Lots of energy on the stage. The venue a great one - this was my first time at the Eventplex at Everaz Place. The sound quality in the building is very good. Overall the whole evening was great!!!
Barney Bentall was good but of course, Kim Mitchell rocks. He was on for more than 1 1/2 hrs. Played a variety of everything. Loved it. Awesome. Overall party should have actually started earlier, with Barney Bentall coming on before 10. Otherwise I highly recommend it.
It was a really fun party. Those old dudes know how to party!
