Always a good time! Great crowd engagement at every game!
merch sucked could have more detail - there’s just a K on everything and they got blown away 6-0. hopefully they do better on the next game!
Great venue. Good price, fast hockey . Get there early for parking. A shame that there were so many empty seats.
Every game comes with near dangerous noise levels, but the game on March 10 against the Petes added another dimension. Who ever thought it would be a good idea to sell those little black horns should Bev forced to sit ahead of a youngster who has one of those things for the whole game. They are so easy to blow that kids tend to blow them - continuously, and apparently with the parent’s blessing. The security staff tried on two occasions to stop one particularly annoying young man to no avail. The father was ready to come to blows over his attempts to quiet his son. A nearby fan also had a near altercation with the father. I will not be renewing my season tickets for next season.
Had a really great time. Fronts lost, but they kinda deserved to.
I was treated to a great hockey game experience on Fri Feb. 10th at 7pm. The Frontenacs beat Oshawa in a tense shoot-out during OT. Go Fronts! Unfortunately, the family I was sitting beside didn't make me feel like a valued supporter of the team, or of the Leon's Center. I've been to 2 games this year at the Leon's Center. In Ottawa, I am a season's ticket holder for the Sens. There, I always have the same seats, and on either side of those seats various different people show up as the season rolls out. We are always friendly neighbors, and respect each other's space. The family at the Leon's center, also obviously season's ticket holders, seemed to view their space as their personal living room, and I wasn't welcomed near them. There were 2 sitting in front of me, 2 beside me, and 3 behind me. An older man sat beside me, who was also a season's ticket holder, but he was very friendly and jovial. First, the older woman up front asked me and the older gentleman to move down, to give them space. The older guy corrected them, saying this was his seat and I said that I had paid for my seat as well. It was a busy Friday game, and us moving down would have simply inconvenienced someone else. There was no reason to move, aside from this woman wanting us to. When we said we weren't going to move, that's when the real drama began. The mother who sat beside me gave me attitude for the entire game, would push me with her arm, make sniffing noises at me, and complained to the rest of her family about me. Let's be clear, I was in the seat I paid for. They just didn't want me there in "their space". So, words to the wise: everyone who wants to support the game and venue with ticket and food purchases should be welcomed in that space. Don't push people away. Those seats you paid for? Other people paid for theirs as well. You don't have any more right to that space than anyone else.
14 soldiers from the British Army in attendance and the game definitely didn’t disappoint, it had everything, especially the fight at the end of the Generals game got everyone hyped and as a result the sport of hockey and the Fronts have gained a lot of new fans. Thank you and hopefully we will be able to return soon.
They lost against Ottawa 67s they were not playing good as a team like the 67s were that day but it wont stop us from going again i still enjoy going to the fronts games i know they are a good team
I go to the Canadian Tire Centre often to watch the Sens. As a season's ticket holder for the last 4 years, I am not a stranger to a stadium/area venue. Leon's Centre did not disappoint. Yes, it was smaller, but had everything you needed, with some added improvements. For instance, clean bathrooms with hot water. Oh the simple joys of washing pizza off your fingers with warm water when you want to get back to the game. As a taller person, I am used to being cramped in seating wherever I go. At the Canadian Tire Centre in the 100 sections, I find it's tight even there. Leon's Centre seemed to have extra leg room, even for a person like me. I wasn't scrunched up, and my knees did not touch the seat ahead of me. I sat in the 103 section, a couple of rows up. Padding on the seats would have been nice, but the added leg room made up for that for me. I did think the lines for food moved very slowly. So slowly that I waited a full intermission to get to the front to pay for my pizza. But, that was only one food venue of many. I guess the one that was selling pizza and hotdogs was the most popular, so I'm not surprised. I did a walk around and saw that the other vendors wait times to be more reasonable. Prices were what you'd expect for an arena, and the beer was cold. The crowd was awesome! Lots of local support from friends and family. The energy level of the crowd matched that of the players on the ice. It was great all around.
Fantastic game! Great way to spend a Friday evening with friends and family
Watching live hockey is so much more entertaining when games are competitive.
Finding Parking took us 20 mins & another 10 mins to walk to the game. We barely made it in time. No fun when your rushed. The Game Experience was good. Staff was friendly etc The Fronts played Horrible from #51 on down unfortunately.
It was easy to get into the arena, the staff were so nice. The game was awesome. The only complaint I have is they really need some decent coffee, there was only one place that served it and it just wasn’t good. Other than that it was perfect!
A great game. Brought my dad, brother Nd my daughter and we all had an amazing experience
The arena is really impressive and the quality of the hockey was top notch. Kingston fans enjoy their hockey. My only complaint is that there are not enough concessions. The lines for food and drink were ridiculous between periods and not great during periods. Kudos to Riverhead Brewery for their quality, local beer.
Security at the venue is over the top! Seriously wanding people coming through the doors…? Food and Beverage prices are too high. The game was great though!
The Fronts ramped up their offensive play in periods two and three with four unanswered goals and Spooner was solid in net …..
Another great experience watching the Frontenacs play. They played Oshawa and absolutely dominated. I'm very excited for the future of these players!
My 2 sons and i went and the Kingston Frontenacs play host to Ottawa. It was a great game. I really like the spaxe you have between people when you are seated. Right now it is 50% capacity and give you lost of space. Overall a great time.
It was great seeing the Fronts play. Given the spike in COVID cases we have been seeing in Kingston, though, I was really disappointed by the protocols in place. - People were jam packed into the stadium. No way to avoid that we were all breathing the same air. - Lots of people were not wearing their masks. The staff were trying, but people were ignoring them. - Eating/drinking shouldn't be allowed in the seats. People next to us were eating the whole game and therefore not wearing masks at all. Let people have their snacks in the concourse.
