Amazing performance, exceeded my expectations by far. So, BRAVO MARIINSKY ! I will be very happy to see more of MARIINSKY performances in Toronto. I hope Canadian ballet dancers will reach same level of performance as Masters of MARIINSKY some day.

A great performance by the Mariinsky Ballet - the corps de ballet were flawless (despite of the swans falling) and provided the perfect framing. The ballerina excelled in the dual Odette/Odile role both technically and emotionally and was well supported by her partner. She excelled in act 3 - in particular her fouettes! The dancer who played Siegfried was technically outstanding. The dancer playing Rothbart was excellent - a pity it was so difficult to see him in the dark - there has to be a better way to light the "rouges" to maintain the effect without losing the performance. The company got a standing ovation, which has become the norm in Toronto. I do wish that theatre-goers would be more particular in handing out standing ovations which would make receiving them more special for the performers! The orchestra was very average - such beautiful music was spoilt by timing problems and the sound seemed very "thin". All in all worth seeing - a great ballet company with outstanding stars.

Excellent performance- very professional and entertaining as i expected Mariinsky to be. Only bad thing was the air in the room vas very stale as no AC was on - everyone complained about being too hot and stuffy.

An enjoyable evening, highly recommended to others.

This is priceless! Beautiful music, outstanding performance, glorious costumes and decorations. Must see.
