This is an incredible spectacle
by KISSSaskatoon on 2023-12-13SaskTel Centre - SaskatoonBefore the concert started outside of the TicketMaster venue, some man known as Dancing Bob was dancing and had a high quality speaker that was belting out KISS tunes and I arrived well in advance of the concert, and he was dancing at least 3 hours or possibly more before the doors opened to general admission, and he's probably at least in his 60s, possibly older, and wasn't slowing down . Crownlands, the opening act was very good. They sounded a lot like Rush. KISS stage presence and the props, and the lights and the gimmicks were good or great, but most importantly the performance was superb. I don't know how they are going to top themselves. The Shania Twain concert I went to the previous week was excellent as well, considering it was the day after some of her crew were involved in a highway accident on one of the tour buses I'm assuming because of poor road conditions and/or weather like black ice, because professional drivers rarely make poor decisions with regards to driving, but this concert is arguably the best concert I have ever been to. The preshow with Dancing Bob, the opening act Crownlands and the headliners were all excellent. As an aside, I may have talked to Gene or someone who resembles him before the show, since he had a KISS lanyard and looked like him who was dealing with VIP ticketholders, who had early access to the building seats I would imagine. Maybe they should consider a BluRay/DVD and/or digital release for their New York shows to conclude the tour. Are they really done touring, or will they sometimes get back on the road for the occasional show not and then?
