About

Kurtis Conner on Tour

Canadian comedian, podcaster, YouTube sensation and songwriter Kurtis Conner can now add national headliner to his resume. As he kicks off Kurtis Conner On Tour in 2022, expect this sell-out performer to bring his funniest material yet to the stage. Conner's oh-so-relatable brand of comedy featuring his trademark critiques of everything from popular products to pop culture, and songs like the hilariously catchy "Pinocchio Diss Track," will have fans clutching their sides. And Conner is bringing reinforcements to make sure every show is hysterical from the time the doors open to the last joke. The live show will feature Conner's "Very Really Good" podcast co-hosts Dean Hebscher and Jacob Sharpe.

Kurtis Conner Live

Kurtis Conner was born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1994, where he later performed his first stand-up shows and studied comedy writing and performance at Humber College. In 2014, he had amassed around 350,000 followers on the viral, yet short-lived, Vine app. Although Vine was destined to disappear, Conner used the recognition he had gained online to start a YouTube channel and begin touring stand-up shows all over Canada in 2014. By 2016, he had released his debut stand-up record Cuppla Jokes, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Comedy chart and No. 1 on iTunes. Conner's YouTube fans can't seem to get enough of his characteristic thoughtful irreverence and wacky video editing techniques. As of 2022, his YouTube channel has over 3.9 million followers, and his clips frequently hit the Top 10 trending page. While most of his videos are lighthearted critiques of movies or popular trends, he has resonated with fans for occasionally taking a stand against offensive or problematic online content. In 2019, he gained recognition for calling out a pair of TikTok stars for jokingly portraying domestic violence situations, and he ended up raising $26,000 for domestic violence awareness.

Don’t think just go- and get a shirt!

    by Cass on 2022-11-08

I had the privilege of watching Kurtis, Jacob, and Dean front row in Vancouver on November 6/22, the closing night of the tour. Despite it being the closing night, these three brought SO much energy! Each one had a unique style and delivery of their jokes. It was super cool to see all of them shine in their own particular way- I had never seen Jacob or Dean before but now I’m a huge fan! Very funny, very charming, and they all really responded to the room well and thought on their feet well. I loved that Kurtis was so respectful and thankful for Jacob and Dean even though they were the openers (I understand they’re also his very good friends but sometimes the openers end up under appreciated or rushed over). Jacob and Dean had about 30 mins each and Kurtis had about an hour. Nonetheless nothing felt rushed or too lengthy. The jokes were super relatable and sometimes just plain punny. There was a ton of crowd engagement and everyone was involved from the back to the front of the room. I had a great time. The next time he goes on tour I will definitely be there cheering just as loudly! I saw Kurtis Conner live, and all I got was this shirt!! :)

    Great Show!

    by C. S. on 2019-08-15

Kurtis, Jacob and Dean were all really great, especially considering this was their second show together. I had a good time seeing them do stand up as compared to the regular YouTube videos. My only critique would be the meet and greet. I paid $60 each (separate from the GA ticket) for me and my sister to meet Kurtis but we were regulated to 30 seconds and one photo per ticket. I understand time was tight, but there wasn’t many of us, and I think it would have been better if either it had started earlier, or had taken place after the show. I only got to speak to him for about 10 seconds. I didn’t end up sitting in the VIP section as we managed to snag front row seats, and that section was way off to the side. I had a wonderful time overall, but maybe in the future, there could be a little more bang for your buck for the VIP.
