  • Lady A best suited for concert arena

    by Jan2 on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 2 out of 5

Lady A was awesome... Charles especially was riveting, and Dave on keyboard and guitar was awesome. Sadly, Hillary didn't seem to be on top pf her game...although her husband-drummer was incredible! What was the most disappointing was the venue itself...it was difficult to hear any of the songs clearly, as the music was louder than the voices, and the voices came across garbled and indistinct... Too bad... I will not to to a Pacific COLISEUM concert again.

  • lady a was loud

by pktc on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Lady A took way too long to come out as there were 2 opening acts. Although I really enjoyed thompson square and darius rucker by the time lady a came out i was tired. the sound was set way too loud as I couldnt even make out the words of the songs. By far not my favorite concert.

It was an awesome concert!! I wish they can come back.

They were awesome! Great chemistry on stage and they looked like they were really enjoying themselves.

  • Bands overplayed artists and sound was tinny

by DJCanuck on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5

We were disappointed after seeing Lady Antebellum in the past opening for Tim McGraw. They have beautiful voices and sound that was drowned out by a tinny sounding band. The best moments were when the band took a break and allowed just Dave to accompany Hillary and Charles on piano. I could have listened to that all night. That is what we came for, not the band! We found the same with Darius Rucker. Darius was harder to hear the words. The most pleasant surprise was Thompson Square, who we had no expectations for. We enjoyed their set.

  • Amazing show!

    by MelC83 on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

All three acts (Lady A, Darius Rucker, & Thompson Square) were fun, interactive, and talented. Highly recommend this show!

  • Unforgettable!

by tcaskenette on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing concert! The two opening acts, Thompson Square and Darius Rucker were full of energy and gave it everything they had. It was awesome to see them perform. Lady A blew my mind. They are true performers and really gave a great show. There was lots of energy and connection with the audience. I just wish that i was at a spot where i could have given a high five, because they are true musicians and i have the utmost respect for them. Really great performance. Glad i went!

  • Lady Antebellum was superb!

by travelbabe on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

We both loved the band and the music. There was a few things that didn't make it a 5 star night but a 4 star night. First there should of been only 1 opening band not 2 as then LA couldn't play long. The 2 opening acts were longer than the main performance which was wrong. The opening acts played 1 1/2hrs and then 30 min for new set up so the concert started at 7pm but LA didn't come on till 9:15pm and only played 1 hour 20 min including the encore. The should of played 2 hours like all other concerts for the price. Like Rod Stewart concert and keith Urban concerts they both played well over 2 hours and they had an opening bands. Also LA only gave the audience 1 encore for the night one boom bang and over leaving you dumbfounded as most bands give 3 final encores at least for the night. So they need to work on their choreography and timing of everything so things run more smoothly in a timely fashion to please their audience. But overall they were very good. And we thoroughly enjoyed them but would of been disappointed if travelled by plane to see them and this was all they gave being 1 hour 20 min concert. They should have had better costumes like other then jeans and leggings. They should of done suits and nice fancy dress like on thier cd's for a concert like this to promote themselves and be classy....cheers

Better as opening act for Keith Urban!!!! Way too screechy and loud. Never got a sense of Hilary's voice and only the odd time with Charley. One HOUR for a headliner!!!! BAD!!! If I wanted a singalong, I'd join a choir of some sort, not pay to hear a headliner divide the duties!!!!

  • Lady antebeLlum was good.

The lady antebellum played for 1 hour and 20 mins. We love there music. But We were very disappointed. Being the first time in Canada and first time in Vancouver. You would of think that they would of performed longer for their fans. They only performed for 1 hour 20 mins.Disappointed!! I think they should of played aleast 2 hours for their fans.

  • lady antebellum @ darius rucker were amazing

    by tiger47 on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Lady Antebellum was amazing, they played good songs, got the crowd going, brought Thompson Square and Darius Ruker out all together, to sing , which the crowd really like. Its great that they did that to share the stage with the others. And Darius Rucker blew me away he was great dancing around, and his sing was fantastic.

We had a fabulous time, absolutly loved the stage setup. It allowed for everyone in the Coliseum to have a wonderful view. Lady A sure know how to put on a fabulous performance. I cannot wait to see them again.

I thought overall the performances were great. Not sure that I would go to another event at the Pacific Coliseum again. It is not very comfortable.

  • Lady Antebellum was sheer noise

by noral on 2012-03-21Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 1 out of 5

I wasted over $400 for 5 tickets to a lousy concert. When I go to a concert I go for the main act. I know, smaller groups have to get known so I can sit thru one pre-show concert, but 2? Lady Antebellum didn't start playing until 9:15 on a concert that started at 7:00pm. Altho their act only lasted 1 hour/15 minutes I was glad when it was over. My main complaint was the extreme noise level. Why does it have to be so loud? The best song of the night was during the intermission to set up Lady Antebellum they played an Adele song. The volume was just right and every word came thru crisp and clear.

  • Own the Night 2012 World Tour - Absolutely Amazing

It's the second time I have seen Lady Antebellum, the first time they opened for Tim McGraw......They are proffessionals now. Getting all acts on stage to sing Black Water was great. All in all it was a fantastic concert.
