BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Manhattan-born Le1f, aka Khalif Diouf, studied ballet as a kid and received a degree in dance from Wesleyan University before returning to New York and starting to produce hip hop. After making tracks for Brooklyn-based hip hop group Das Racist in the late '00s, Le1f made his solo debut in 2012 with the mixtape Dark York. The release spurred serious online buzz with standout track "Wut", leading to a flurry of attention and collaborations with like-minded rapper Mykki Blanco and producer Boody. His second mixtape Fly Zone dropped in 2013, and later that year he released the Hey EP on Terrible Records. The following year he made his national TV debut with a performance on David Letterman, and in 2015 he released his long-awaited debut album Riot Boi to widespread acclaim. A natural performer known for his bombastic live shows, Le1f continues to add to his army of fans every time he hits the road.
