About

LeAnn Rimes is an international multi-platinum selling acclaimed singer and ASCAP award-winning songwriter. She has sold more than 48 million units globally, won 2 Grammy® Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; 2 World Music Awards; 3 Academy of Country Music Awards; 2 Country Music Association Awards and one Dove Award. At 14, Rimes won "Best New Artist" making her the youngest solo artist to take home a Grammy® Award, and at 15, she became the first country artist to win "Artist of the Year" at the Billboard Music Awards.

In 2022, LeAnn was presented with the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award, which is an award presented to genre-spanning songwriters, composers and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones.

Out of the 63 singles she has released throughout her expansive career, LeAnn's ballad "How Do I Live" holds the record as Billboard's Hot 100 all-time #1 hit by a female artist and currently ranks #6 on Billboard's "Greatest of All Time: Hot 100 Songs" list. 15 of her multi-genre singles are top-10 hits, including "Can't Fight the Moonlight," which went #1 in 11 countries.

The last couple of years have been quite a resurgence for LeAnn. In 2022, the world-renowned singer had a big year including the release of her 19th album god's work (EverLe Records via Thirty Tigers/ The Orchard). The album, which features a roster of accomplished artists including Ziggy Marley, Mickey Guyton, Aloe Blacc, Ben Harper, and more, was listed as #9 on Variety's "The Best Albums of 2022." They said: "You won't find a richer collection of melodic writing on any album released this year, with the twists and turns that maybe only someone capable of all that virtuosic vocalizing could think to take a set of songs into."

She performed songs from the project on national shows including LIVE With Kelly and Ryan and TODAY. In April of the same year, LeAnn headlined an episode of the iconic music series CMT Crossroads entitled LeAnn Rimes & Friends alongside Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, and Brandy Clark, who helped commemorate Rimes' career and recognize the path she blazed forward for women in all genres.

LeAnn also served as the inspiration judge on the discovery+ competition series, Meet Your Makers Showdown, alongside Chrissy Metz and Mark Montano in November 2021 and won season four of FOX's The Masked Singer, with Entertainment Weekly stating that she delivered "... the most beautiful performance in the history of The Masked Singer."

In honor of the 2019 Record Store Day, the Grammy-winning superstar unveiled her first-ever LIVE recording as an exclusive vinyl release titled Rimes: Live at Gruene Hall where Rimes celebrated music of all genres. And during the 2018 holiday season she starred and served as an Executive Producer in Hallmark's It's Christmas, Eve, which earned the highest TV original movie debut to-date for the channel premiering to over 4.3 million viewers. Earlier that year, Rimes revealed a new EP for her fans titled Re-Imagined that featured five new versions of some of her record-breaking hits, including an epic duet with the music icon Stevie Nicks. In 2017, LeAnn released Remnants, which debuted at # 4 on Billboard's Independent Album Chart, peaked at #3 on iTunes ® overall charts in its first week, garnered two #1 Billboard Dance hits with "Long Live Love" and "LovE is LovE is LovE," and one Top 5 hit with "Love Line." Additionally, for her Remnants UK Tour, she joined Elton John at the historic Hyde Park in London.

Passionate about using her voice to help heal the world, LeAnn was honored with the Ally of Equality Award by the Human Rights Campaign for her over 20 years of support of equal rights, the 2019 HOPE Award for Depression Advocacy, and 2009 ACM Humanitarian Award, among other recognitions. She continues to channel her voice in new ways, releasing CHANT: The Human & The Holy (EverLe Records / Thirty Tigers) in 2020, which spent 5 weeks at #1 on iTunes New Age Chart, as well as her iHeartRadio mental health and wholeness podcast, Wholly Human, that brings her lifestyle blog, Soul of EverLe, to life. Wholly Human, which currently has three seasons, previously reached #2 on iTunes Health & Fitness Chart, placed in the Top 35 overall for podcasts worldwide and was named as one of the 15 best mental health podcasts that educate and empower listeners by Good Housekeeping.

Leann & Holiday Favourites a Memorable Evening

by Debilyn on 2014-12-24The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

In spite of the concert goers behind us talking for the first hour of the show, I did enjoy and was in awe of Leann's powerful voice singing my favorite holiday songs. However I do feel that the type of show Leann put on would have been better staged and performed in a smaller venue. The Colosseum was too big to develop any type of intimacy with her performance.

Leann Rimes sang from the heart!!!

by joyfulteddies on 2014-12-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

What an awesome concert - for once the voice of the performer was the main attraction and not overpowered by her band but rather complimented by it - she sang every song from the heart and interacted very nicely with her audience. It was a great concert!!!

Too many Christmas songs. Myself like the other 100 to 150 people were tired of hearing Christmas tunes and left early. Since I was in the forth row F5 (great seats), I actually paid for my tickets (full price), and would actually like a refund. Are you able to do that? Overpaid for the tickets. She sounded amazing, just thought she would perform more of her actual songs.

    Great Christmas Show!

by Rjenn on 2014-12-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Leann used her terrific voice to sing many Christmas favourites. I really enjoyed this show. A song that was missing was O Holy Night which is on her all time hits album.

    Simple but good

by Anonymous on 2014-11-10Casino Rama - Rama

It was a very simple concert, no frills! Not even an introduction! She just walked out, plaid shirt, red pants, nothing fancy!! I remember thinking geez, i dressed up for you, you couldn't dress up for me?!?!? Lol But she sang amazing and put on a good show! Only thing i (and many others) were disappointed about was, she wore a hat most of the show hiding her face! She did take it off near the end of the show with some coaxing from the audience!

Fantastic show in spite of illness

by MuskokaCasual on 2014-10-14Casino Rama - Rama

What can I say. Leann cares about her fans/audience. While we wondered about the delay in start of concert, soon learned how lucky we were. Leanne shared with us that the whole group had been suffering from suspected food-poisoning and in fact one was in hospital @ that very moment. In spite of that & the fact that none of them were fully recovered; they decided to go ahead with the show! AND, what a show it was. Once they started you wouldn't have known anything was amiss. Sound was great, vocals were awesome and the show wasn't cut short. Leann's stage presence was very engaging.

Lee Ann RIMES Rehersal not Concert!!

by Anonymous on 2014-10-10Casino Rama - Rama

You know what..............I have always like Lee Ann RIMES music and her singing ability..............BUT..............She is 20 minutes late (9.20pm) coming on stage, shes wearing a Suidbury dinner jacket and a goofy black hat so you cant really see her face until the audience told her to take it off. She says one of her band members has food poisoning and then she sings a bunch of her songs and the concert is over at 10.30pm. She comes back out and sings one encore song and leaves. I just drove an hour and a half to Rama from Toronto and paid over one hundred dollars for 2 tickets to watch what looked like a rehersal. We were not impressed!!! Lee Ann RIMES should take some direction from people like Garth or Reba or Vince GILL. on stage presentation. Based on this experience, I really don't know if I will go to another one of her so called concerts. I tried putting a nicname in but it would not let me?? Dave C

    Disappointed by Diva attitude :-\

by Galpals on 2014-10-09Casino Rama - Rama

Leann's voice was unbelievable, her singing was incredible. Her stage presence left a lot to be desired. At the beginning of the performance she made the audience feel as though we should feel privileged by the fact she even showed up. Yes it was in unfortunate her band member became ill but then she went on and on about it. She wore a cowboy hat and said we should be grateful for the fact that at least she wore heels. When she sang her song Kiss my Ass, it felt like it was directed to the audience. Perhaps it was just me, but I saw several people leave before the end of the show. Once she removed the hat, she appeared to be more connected and finally engaged with her audience. Overall experience 6/10

A Little Disapointed with Leann Rimes

by Anonymous on 2014-10-08Casino Rama - Rama

Without a doubt Leann Rimes has an amazing voice. If it wasn't for that voice unfortunately I would have walked out of that concert. The band was 25 minutes late. When they did come out Leann said something about having food poisoning and their band member was in the hospital and was very sick. She looked like she just crawled out of bed and she said they actually were discussing whether to cancel the concert or not. Well I personally would rather they cancel than perform the way they did. I was disappointed no fiddle, appearance and lack of enthusiasm. Unfortunately I have never seen Leann in concert before and sadly I would never pay to see her again after that experience.

    Great Concert: Amazing Voice!

by GeePass on 2014-10-07Casino Rama - Rama

Great to see a live show and see a artist with a beautiful voice that is even better live. That is what concerts are all about and Leann did great. Also seats were good to have a nice view! Only thing is I would prefer to dance but everyone was sitting and I didn't want to block the people behind me.

    Had to leave early!!

by CNConductor on 2014-10-07Casino Rama - Rama

Not a good night. She was 20 minutes late; No Sorry for being late but just a reference that she and the band were sick, she is one of my favorite vocal artists but not last Friday. Her constant reference to how sick she and the band were did not help me accept the fact that I was not seeing the expected excellent show. The management should have made an announcement very soon after 9pm passed rather than turn up the obnoxious music to drown out the few folks who whistled or clapped their annoyance. Being a polite Canadian crowd there was little of this rather than the stomping and yelling other places may have engendered. Somebody close to me had on the worst cologne or perfume possible and I got physically ill and chose to just leave after 5 songs. It is no one's fault except the overzealous "perfumer" that I had to leave and the show might have gotten better had I been able to last. This is the first disappointing concert for me and my wife in the many years we have been coming to Casino Rama. Bob Haggart Note - Everyone gets sick at times and I feel bad for her and her band - but you did ask for a review of the show last Saturday and it was not her usual awesome presentation.

the sound was awful! the back ground vs voice so bad! couldn't hear or understand any of her singing! Maybe thats why she cut her show so short! For the money - terrible! would have had more fun at a slot. DT

    Leann is superb!

by Berds on 2013-03-24Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - Cabazon

What a stunning voice Leann has... Not only is she versatile in her song selection, but she is able to express every element of every song and sing it to perfection! Her voice has matured even more than I remember it and this has added a quality of richness that makes her interpretation and execution of each song absolutely unforgettable. Summertime and Halleluyah were outstanding and brought chills to my spine.
