    Exciting execution of live boxing!

by Drop Daniels on 2024-11-27REBEL - Toronto

Professional Boxing in a massive nightclub setting, makes for a great concept on paper. But pulling it off time and time again, is something to be respected. Lee Baxter promotions is top notch. I've attended a few of Lee Baxter Promotions live boxing events, and have been impressed every time!

    Lee Baxter 110

Lee Baxter really knows how to throw a professional event. I used to go to his competitors events and was always dissapointed, bad crowd, bad matchmaking, little competition. Lee Baxter at Rebel is top notch entertainment. And the stage seats are amazing, you are eye level with the fighters.

    had a great time!

by Godfoot on 2022-03-16REBEL - Toronto

Fun fights, great music/DJ, and overall atmosphere. One recommendation. Make the back section have some bleachers instead of horizontally flat chair formation, so spectators in the back row are higher than the front row. Front row people were standing so some shorties in the back had to stand to see.

The main event was publicly promoted the same day as the fight between Steve Rolls vs Shady Gamhour. Gamhour's is trained by the legendary Roy Jones Jr from Pensacola Florida. I made the effort on a Tuesday night to travel to and attend the event primarily to see Roy Jones Jr. However the event program indicated Steve Rolls would be the co-main event! I was very disappointed and equally embarrassed because I invited a close friend who also travelled to the event on the premise that Roy Jones Jr fighter would be on the card. Ultimately I felt cheated and feel the promotion was very poor! Even Di Bella promotions from the U.S. was promoting Rolls as the main event less than 24 hours before the fight before finally revealing the true card hours before which I did not see! Lee Baxter Promotions the co-Canadian promoter did not promote the proper card! Rolls was promoted as the main event on Canadian Boxiana and elsewhere! I heard that up to 6 days before the event it was known that Rolls would not be fighting Shady Gamhour!
