Mexican singer, songwriter and composer Leonel García got his start as a member of Sin Bandera, but it's his work as a solo artist that fans are currently excited for. Leonel García Live in Concert

Leonel García Núñez de Cáceres was born in Mexico City in 1975. He discovered he had impressive vocal and musical talent at a young age, in part because his parents made music and singing a companion to many of their life experiences. In the '90s, García began using his mostly self-taught skills to compose and direct for young Latin artists. He signed to Sony Records in 2000, where he met future Sin Bandera bandmate Noel Schajris. The pair produced five successful albums but parted amicably in 2007. García began his solo career under the stage name León Polar and released his first solo studio album LP in 2008. García dropped the pseudonym for his debut solo album, Tú, and released it as Leonel García through Sony Music Latin in 2011. He released six more albums and EPs in the 2010s and early 2020s, picking up five Latin Grammys, various Grammy nominations and MTV Video Music Awards, 12 Lo Nuestro Awards and Gold, Platinum and Diamond Records. In 2022, García recorded Ella y Yo in one session in the Sony Music Studios in Mexico. The album is an intimate exploration with masterful vocals and guitar accompaniment. García will mark his first U.S. tour as a solo artist as he promotes Ella y Yo on the Acustico USA Tour 2022.
