What a fantastic way to spend Valentines! I was swept away to a wonderful place. Let it Be performers are phenomenal!
The guys did a great job, the McCartney vocals very spot on and having seen him recently, if you closed your eyes you would think he was there...maybe even better then current day McCartney at times. We really enjoyed the energy of the second act when the boys really got into it and by the end everyone was on their feet. I had reasonably high expectations and they were met.
Fantastic! Wasn't sure what to expect but the cast, the costumes, set design and the sound were superb! Well worth the ticket price!
Incredible performance. Great musicians and entertainers!
It was excellent. It was more than just a music concert by an imitation band. It was a show that made you feel that you were reliving some of the key moments in the Beatles existence. People of at least 3 different generations were there and all seemed to be enjoying the show. The cast of the show were excellent musicians and actors capturing the music and the character qualities of the band members they were portraying. Serious yet fun and light at the same time. Great special effects kept you entertained while the band made costume changes and backdrop changes for the different stages of the evolution of the Beatles. My wife and I had an excellent time watching, listening, singing and sometimes dancing a long. Money well spent.
Excellent Selection of songs performed flawlessly. Even the bass player was left handed. Good special effects too. I had no complaints. I heard some people complain that they shortened some of the songs so that more songs could be played.
A recreation, more than a narrative, "Let It Be" uses costume changes and changing backgrounds to simulate the essential periods of the Fab Four's sweeping career and influence, starting with The Cavern Club and concluding with the rooftop concert from "Let It Be" that marked the last time they'd perform publicly (and soon after that, not at all). At each side of the stage are an oversized tube television and transistor radio that periodically play fun vintage TV commercials, newsreel footage, and brief interview clips. The performers are uniformly excellent and gamely aspire to "suggest" their respective characters, rather than attempt outright impersonations (the right choice, I think). With 40 songs, there are many Beatles faves you won't here, but this lively show will make you smile and marvel at the incredible range and scope of their music.
Outstanding! From the designed vignetting through the sequence of society's changes and movements the sound, colour, costumes, and rich expert performance morphed into a surreal concert that made my family and I really feel it was the real deal on stage!
Let it be band did quite well and played most of the nice songs of the Beatles. They followed history of the band with change of theme, clothes, ect. Really enjoyable
This show was far beyond my expectations ! The music was great, the singing amazing. We were very impressed.
this was truly a show for the ages. a real Beatles fan would appreciate this. in fact, even those who aren't big fans would still love this show. it was probable the best Beatles tribute band that I've seen so far. only Beatlemania comes close.
fabulous show, these guys have worked hard to bring back memories of the Beatles.
I was not impressed. Sound was horrible all first act. Second part was better. There were not actual story, action, just singing with few old rolls of film. Boring. It did pick up at the end, but too late. I would not recommend.
The nostalgia impact was tremendous as the Beatles' music is ageless. The cast did their best to be "the real deal". These guys are talented musicians and their guitar skills were amazing. There was enough conversing with teh audeience to create a level of engagement, but the music is the thing. It was a feel good experience on a cold night in Toronto. Would highly recommend it for its overall entertainment value.
This show was everything I expected. The stage set ups were wonderful, as were the costume changes. Will go see them next time they're here.
I bought tickets for LET IT BE with high expectations. The show has had great reviews in London. I have seen several Beatles tribute shows including RAIN, which I enjoyed very much. I am a big Beatles fan and have high standards. LET IT BE did not come anywhere near my expectations. In fact I left at the interval. I couldn't stand the massacre any longer. This was a Valentine event for my husband. LET IT BE was a LET DOWN.
Awesome show would go see it again Haven't been to and event with hubby in years And we both loved it
Loved the show. Let It Be is like watching The Beatles throughout time. The portrayal of John and Paul was uncanny. They sounded just like them and had their mannerisms down to a tee. I would go again and recommend to all Beatles fans.
This was a very well done tribute show to the Beatles. Any Beatle fan would find this evening to be worthwhile, and a lot of fun.
Took us back into a magical time. Very goof musicians, and voices were close enough.
