    Very Entertaining

by GW on 2019-10-13Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Lord Huron was absolutely amazing live! They had fantastic stage presence and kept everyone entertained the whole time. The vocals were spot on and the songs sounded just like their recordings, if not better. I was thoroughly impressed and would love to see them again. The lights that corresponded with the show were beautiful and captivating as well, although they often shone them directly in the audiences faces repeatedly and were painfully blinding. That was the only downside though, because Lord Huron made up for it with a spectacular show!

One of the best bands ever. Talented musicians, and they make music that’s great for the soul. Just the right amount of interaction with the audience. Second time seeing them and I will continue to do so whenever they visit Calgary - fingers crossed.

    artificial

by mold on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

y’know when you go to a concert and you can tell if something is very very staged and fake and very pure? this concert was pretty staged. the light show was amazing, and overall stage presence was good. the quality of the music sounded like it was just a recording, it was too perfect.

    Unbelievable Show - Exceeded Expectations

by MrRMac on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

WOW! What a show!! Undoubtedly one of the best concerts I have ever had the fortune of being a part of! Lord Huron brought their musical A game and delivered a powerful and melodic performance to a jam packed crowd at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium! One song led into the next and the lead singer can sing, play and dance soulfully! This was a concert that I had wanted to see since I have never seen the band in concert before but follow and listen to them religiously. My wife wasn’t as keen as me when we went but when the show was over she was through the roof and ecstatic to have witnessed such a powerful show! The light show was just as impressive as the music! Overall, I would suggest to any Lord Huron fan who didn’t have the chance to see them to GO SEE THEM the next time they come to town because they are well worth the $$$ to go see... Go see Lord Huron!!

    Great show, but...

by Gerry on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Lord Huron turned out to be a very pleasant surprise, considering we went to the show based on one song of theirs. The lead singer was a really good showman and the drummer was outstanding. They displayed a range of sounds and songs that was a joy to hear and see. The lighting was good, but would have preferred it spent less time pointing to the audience. It would have been nice for the lighting to showcase the solos and other members of the band. Overall, i would give them 5 out of 5. The only "but" was the opening band "Loving". I do not like to say anything negative about anyone who gets up in front of an audience and plays. But this band was nowhere near the calibre of what one would expect of an opener. Had i walked into a venue with these guys playing, it would be a short stay. Their tempo was slow to start and got slower and sadder as they went on, and each song sounded like the last one. Sorry guys, you are not that good. However, Lord Huron saved the evening and made it a night to remember. Definitely worth seeing and would recommend them to anyone.

The band was absolutely amazing!! Ben S has a fantastic voice and the band was so tight it was like listening to them on the radio! 100% professional and such good music! The venue is number 1, no bad seats and the acoustics are unbelievable! Lord Hurons choice of songs was what we expected and we were not disappointed! I would go and see them again without a doubt! It was a family outing and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thanks for putting on an amazing show. We feel proud to be at Lord Hurons headlining debut! AWESOME!!!

    Lights! Action!

by CVT on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Lord Huron gave us a great night out. Proud of them for their first headliner in Edmonton. A little overdue. The light show was fantastic! Made parts of the show feel like a movie, but in a good way.

    Why so Loud?

by icur2yz on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I've listened to this band for a few years. Watch live events on youtube, bought songs on iTunes. Their music was played as my daughter walked down aisle. But why so loud in the venue. It actually hurt my ears. The performance was great but dial it down so you can at least hear the amazing lyrics.

    Immersive Show

by Pants on 2019-10-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Lord Huron out on a great performance with plenty of deep cuts and the Western charm he's famous for. During the encore he told the audience that they'd play a few more songs "if it suits ya." The sound was good, but the stage was a bit sparse and the lighting employed lots of blinders which was distracting. Overall a great production!

    An unforgettable experience

by lilipusion on 2018-08-01Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Such a beautiful live performance. They have really brought back the tradition of storytelling in their music and I'm so thankful for being able to finally hear the stories live. Chills when they played anything from Strange Trails. Will see them again.

    Even better live!

by jlynn87 on 2018-07-30Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Lord Huron was amazing live. The venue had the music/mics way too loud for the opening act so I wasn't able to enjoy that (so much feedback from the speakers!), but it was adjusted in time for Lord Huron to go on. I enjoyed that they played a mixture of their last two albums. Overall it was an enjoyable night.

    The best concert to date!

by LisaCat on 2018-07-28Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I go to A LOT of concerts including Coldplay, Awolnation, twenty one pilots and many others, so for me to say this is the best I’ve seen thus far is saying a lot. It’s my third time seeing lord Huron and their sound quality and stage presence is just getting better and better (from perfect to infinitely more perfect). Setlist included even some songs for us followers like me that have been there since the very beginning. I am so happy with how crisp and flawless they are live, it’s unlike any live concert ever. I hope they start doing meet and greets because I absolutely have to say hi and explain how much their music has helped me.

5th time seeing Lord Huron- always a great show. Sound was great and new renditions of some older songs were great.
