Lord Huron turned out to be a very pleasant surprise, considering we went to the show based on one song of theirs. The lead singer was a really good showman and the drummer was outstanding. They displayed a range of sounds and songs that was a joy to hear and see. The lighting was good, but would have preferred it spent less time pointing to the audience. It would have been nice for the lighting to showcase the solos and other members of the band. Overall, i would give them 5 out of 5. The only "but" was the opening band "Loving". I do not like to say anything negative about anyone who gets up in front of an audience and plays. But this band was nowhere near the calibre of what one would expect of an opener. Had i walked into a venue with these guys playing, it would be a short stay. Their tempo was slow to start and got slower and sadder as they went on, and each song sounded like the last one. Sorry guys, you are not that good. However, Lord Huron saved the evening and made it a night to remember. Definitely worth seeing and would recommend them to anyone.
