Good over all concert, Top hits were all covered. still has a great voice
excellent show, Lorrie Morgan could have played and sang longer.
Great great show. Really enjoyed Lorrie's performance. She did some of her hits and then some new songs. Very classy entertainer. Place was rocking, everyone thoroughly enjoyed her. Very nice to see her here in Edmonton.
We both really enjoyed the show. I was looking forward to it but did not expect it would be so great. I would love to go to see them again. Both ladies sang really well was nice to hear some real singers for a change. The new country music is nothing in comparison to these two singers. Great voices and very impressive
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The venue was great and the ladies' performances were excellent. I would go to see them again for sure!
great etertainment! fantastic to hear the hits that made them famous!
My wife & I gave tickets for this show to her parents for Christmas. We spoke with them the day after the show and they were still completely pumped. My father-n-law called last night to thanks us again and he was still raving about it. I would have given it five stars, but I wasn't there. Based on their reaction it probably was.
The background vocals and instrumentals were excellent. They sang some old and some new songs which was a nice variety. They amusing and friendly. Very entertaining evening.
a good concert but could have played longer started at 8 and done by 10....
Excellent show, except for a small amount of sound feedback. Both Lorrie and Pam were very entertaining.
Good show, fast paced, lots of good patter and these gals can sing. Pam T is a country songstress while Lorrie M can sing anything and sound good. Good back up group, mix of both gals back up gang and an excellent background vocal gal. Well worth the price of admission.
Both my friend and I enjoyed listening to both Lorrie's older music and the new music is now making. Her band was excellent and the whole experience was wonderful. The only negative would be the fact that no photos were allowed. This is something that is quite important to me and I'm sure other fans would agree a photo memory is something that should be allowed at Casino Rama. Keep up the great work, though.
If you are moved by the sound of a beautiful voice you should spend some time listening to Lorie Morgan. Unlike so many of today's so called artists this is a woman who knows what a melody is. The quality of her voice is clear and apparent as she does not require instruments to carry her lovely tone nor does she need to disquise melodies with vocal riffs.
Lorrie looks fantastic. Her band plays fantastic. The show started sharp at 9:00pm and continued without interruption until the end at 10:30pm. I swear that Lorrie sings better now than on her older CD's. Anyone who enjoys traditional country and Lorrie Morgan missed a truly great event if they did not see the show. The Casino Rama Theatre is the best theatre that I have attended with the accoustics, seating and atmosphere.
This is one of the best shows we have been too. We would go again tomorrow.
We went to the Lorrie Morgan concert on Sat. and had front row seats. She was amazing. She is a beautiful looking lady with a beautiful voice. She is a great entertainer. Her band and backup singer all look like they really enjoy what they do. Thanks Lorrie for the great night.
Lorrie has fought back and still delivers a heartfelt powerful performance.. We have already bought her new album and are great fans. Hope she comes back to Canada real soon.
We saw Lorrie Morgan at Casino Rama. Her voice was incredible, she looked great, and she had the audience cracking up with her self-depracating sense of humour. I haven't heard much from Lorrie since the 90's but jumped at the chance to see her live here in Canada. My wife, who was only a moderate fan, was definitely converted to serious fan after the entertaining performance. She sang many of her hits ("Something in Red," "What Part of No," "Half Enough") along with material from her new classic country standards album, including "Candy Kisses," "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and "Ain't No Sunshine When He's Gone" (which was a highlight). She also did a great job debuting some new, very personal material ("Mirror, Mirror") from a second album out now. It was disappointing that neither album was available for purchase at the concert, only via her website. The Casino Rama auditorium is not a bad location, although seats on the floor were too tight for my liking.
We went to the concert for Lorrie Morgan and enjoyed it very much. She did an ausome concert and we would recommend her show to others. We found that the band was very loud!! Maybe this could be monitored during other shows that are preformed here. There were older couples leaving during the concert and it could have been because of the loudness. Seating was great, especially the big screened TV's the view. Keep up the great concerts.
Great show but an expensive ripoff for a 75 minute show, it was boosted to 90 minutes with encores Guess the casino is more interested in getting the gamblers back on the floor than having a performance of reasonable length
