Hey Romeo was excellent and played to the crowd welcome - very folksy. Jimmy was proof that a good comedian can be funny without being vulgar....very refreshing! Love Lorrie Morgan - great list of outstanding songs. Was aware of her audience and give or take the odd"commercial" enjoyed her songs and stage presence.....she was a hit with me. Was disappointed in her sound crew - voice seemed to echo or reverberate. At times her band was to loud as it over powered her voice. Sharon and Danny were great -Really enjoy them on radio and now on stage...very very funny and entertaining.

Good but could have been better
by Kenji on 2011-05-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5The opening act - Jimmy the Janitor - was very funny and enjoyable. Was on stage just the right amount of time. The next act - Hey Romeo - is a talented group, all three have excellent voices. In my opinion, they spent too much time talking and not enough time singing - which is what they were there for. I also thought they could use more instruments in the band to make the music 'more rounded' and less 'brash'. Lorrie Morgan was who I went to see and wasn't disappointed in her song choices or presentation. There seemed to be some problems with the sound system in the Jube. It started out sounding like she was in a tunnel singing and then there were other problems as well. Her voice is strong and pure but was let down by the glitches with the sound quality. This is the first time I have ever heard any problems with the sound system in the Jube. I liked the stories she told - not too many and in good taste. All in all, though, I was happy that I had gone to see her and satisfied with her portion of the show.

Very enjoyable program and all acts were great - what a great facility to have it in. The band playing was a little loud from where we were sitting and we are not hard of hearing lol
CFCW Appreciation Show
by lgs62 on 2011-05-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5Jimmy the Janitor was awesome; Hey Romeo was very good. Unfortunately the back up band for Lorrie Morgan was way too loud making it very difficult to understand her. I'm sure she would have been very entertaining if it was possible to hear her. If we had been sitting in aisle seats, we would have left the concert.
Lorrie Morgan
by Anonymous on 2011-05-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5The show itself was great, but the sound quality was the poorest I have heard , especially being at the Jub! Too bad, because I know Hey Romeo and Lorrie Morgan are great otherwise. I hate when people leave in the middle of a concert as it is very interruptive, but I could understand as I was about ready to do the same thing. Instead, both my husband and I compromised . . . when we plugged our ears it blocked out the "screaching" and then Hey Romeo and Lorrie Morgan sounded as they should:-) Too bad Jimmy The Janitor wasn't on for a longer time. He was awesome:-)
Sound
by archie2 on 2011-05-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5Hi. The show was good. However, the sound system is 'crappy'. I wondered if my hearing was going, but a number of younger people were also disappointed with the quality on the sound. This is not the first show I attended and found the same problem. thanks
good entertainment

Lorrie Morgan & Pam Tillis aoustic tour excellent!
by tarantula on 2011-01-10Club Regent Casino - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5We both really enjoyed the show. I was looking forward to it but did not expect it would be so great. I would love to go to see them again. Both ladies sang really well was nice to hear some real singers for a change. The new country music is nothing in comparison to these two singers. Great voices and very impressive

Best Gift Ever!
by Anonymous on 2011-01-09Club Regent Casino - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5My wife & I gave tickets for this show to her parents for Christmas. We spoke with them the day after the show and they were still completely pumped. My father-n-law called last night to thanks us again and he was still raving about it. I would have given it five stars, but I wasn't there. Based on their reaction it probably was.
Great event
by Heathermom on 2011-01-08Club Regent Casino - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5The background vocals and instrumentals were excellent. They sang some old and some new songs which was a nice variety. They amusing and friendly. Very entertaining evening.

Excellent show, except for a small amount of sound feedback. Both Lorrie and Pam were very entertaining.
These Gals can Sing!!!!
by chooch261 on 2011-01-08Club Regent Casino - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5Good show, fast paced, lots of good patter and these gals can sing. Pam T is a country songstress while Lorrie M can sing anything and sound good. Good back up group, mix of both gals back up gang and an excellent background vocal gal. Well worth the price of admission.
Amazing voice...
by mulan on 2010-04-01Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 4 out of 5Both my friend and I enjoyed listening to both Lorrie's older music and the new music is now making. Her band was excellent and the whole experience was wonderful. The only negative would be the fact that no photos were allowed. This is something that is quite important to me and I'm sure other fans would agree a photo memory is something that should be allowed at Casino Rama. Keep up the great work, though.
Ms. Morgan is truly talented regardless of genre!
by Anonymous on 2010-03-22Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5If you are moved by the sound of a beautiful voice you should spend some time listening to Lorie Morgan. Unlike so many of today's so called artists this is a woman who knows what a melody is. The quality of her voice is clear and apparent as she does not require instruments to carry her lovely tone nor does she need to disquise melodies with vocal riffs.
Lorrie Morgan was fantastic
by Jeeper on 2010-03-22Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5Lorrie looks fantastic. Her band plays fantastic. The show started sharp at 9:00pm and continued without interruption until the end at 10:30pm. I swear that Lorrie sings better now than on her older CD's. Anyone who enjoys traditional country and Lorrie Morgan missed a truly great event if they did not see the show. The Casino Rama Theatre is the best theatre that I have attended with the accoustics, seating and atmosphere.
