About

Maddie Poppe first captivated national audiences as the winner of American Idol Season 16 in 2018. Prior to her winning run on the reality competition show, the young singer-songwriter from Clarksville, Iowa self-released her debut album Songs from the Basement in 2016. Poppe sealed her Idol victory with the finale single “Going Going Gone,” which became her first song to hit the Billboard Digital Songs chart at No. 13. In 2019, Poppe released her Hollywood Records debut Whirlwind, featuring standout tracks such as “Wildflowers,” Made You Miss” and “Not Losing You.” She followed with 2020’s Christmas from Home EP and singles like “Good Enough to Let You Go” and “SOS I’m in Love” in 2023. Over the years, Poppe has collaborated with American Authors, Phillip Phillips, Joshua Radin and more.

    We went to Denver to watch an amazing concert… Maddie Poppe was the opener for Ingrid Michaelson…. I primarily went to see Maddie, and she certainly did not disappoint, but was blown away by both artists…. Looking forward to Maddie coming back tothewest coast!
