A mother. A daughter. 3 possible dads.
And a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!
Set on a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, a tale of love, friendship, and identity is beautifully told through the timeless hits of ABBA. For nearly 25 years, people all around the world have fallen in love with the characters, the story, and the music that make MAMMA MIA! the ultimate feel-good show.
Its was fantastic, went with my husband and daughter ,we all enjoyed it.
Very entertaining, great singers, extremely funny scenes, great costumes in the ending scene
The show was awesome! Best show ever! Would recommend this to my friends. Great show even for kids!
The cast and production was absolutely fun. The acoustics/ the voice microphones were not optimal. I could hear music over the voices and was sometimes unclear if cast member was singing at all. I feel the venue is old and the service charges are outrageous. Tickets were $50 service fee 14.95 per ticket and then a 2.50 venue fee along with parking $7 that is a total of $22 on top of each ticket ! And I printed my tickets at home using my own computer/printer so quite a confusing and expensive service fees. Final cost $72 EACH Area of seating was alright, again the sound perhaps didn't travel well. No washrooms available on second tier.
My wife and i totally enjoyed Mamma Mia. My wife saw it in New York City also and said this was every bit as good, if not better.
A well done show with a personal touch. The audience was made to feel as if they were a part of the show and not just casual fans. Especially loved the inclusion of the music Director.
From start to finish it was spectacular. I went with my Mum and 20 year old daughter and we all absolutely loved it!!
Great acting and singing. Very colourful scenery and lighting. The songs took me back to the '80s and I had an enjoyable time at the show.
Mama Mia was a fun uplifting experience - similar to the movie - well done
Except for the music BLARING at the beginning of both Acts, bruising our eardrums and almost prompting completely unnecessary heart attacks, we loved the show. The music was performed with true dedication to the original ABBA recordings, with enough individual touches to showcase THESE performers. Great staging, dazzling costumes, seamless choreography, a clever set and good lighting evoked a Greek Paradise where anything could happen; the funny parts evoked belly laughs, and there were a lot of tears and sniffles in the poignant moments. Most people were moving to the music and softly singing along to the timeless tunes, and we felt a part of a comfy universal happiness! Except for our ringing eardrums, we were completely transported! :)
Show was full of color, music, and fun. We had never seen the movie and did not realize it had innuendo and sometimes more explicit 'adult' content. I don't think my son, who is 29, and functions on the autism spectrum 'got' most of it, but there were many children there. My son looked forward to the production ever since we decided we would go, talked about it almost every day in anticipation and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was his first experience in the Jubilee and it was a good one. My son is autistic, so seats were chosen re: sensory processing, fear factors (stairs, heights), nearness to washroom, not being able to see all the people behind and above him (being on the main floor, aisle seat, near entrance, were all factors considered when choosing seats...ticket salesperson was very helpful and understanding. We could have paid less for other seats, but these met his sensory needs).
Really enjoyed the show, but there were a couple of scenes that I felt were not appropriate for my 11 year old.
Amazing music and performance. I think the singers sing better than in the movie.
The music and signing was unforgettable so much so that people got up an danced and sang along. The set was great and the story was heart touching. Won't go wrong seeing this Broadway production.
We had such a marvelous night! This is the second time we had the joy of seeing this show !!!
A truly amazing show even if you aren`t an ABBA fan
Absolutely amazing!! So happy I didn't let this show pass by!! Everyone was rockin in their seats and sharing some good laughs!! I'd totally go again :)
A fabulous show! So much fun to watch, and so well done. The actors, the music, the staging - all great. I couldn't believe it was 10:45 when the show ended - I could have sat there longer. Congratulations to all involved in the show.
Mama Mia was not only unforgettable it was amazing. This was the best musical production that we've ever attended. The acting was superb the voices of the cast were incredible. This is a must see event even for the guys who think this is just another chick flick! Well done, thank you.
The show was so great. Loved the music, and the acting was amazing. Just wanted to get up and sing and dance with them. Followed the movie, was something I would go see again
