About

GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen continues to separate Mammoth from the pack. The music stands alone on a foundation anchored by his impressive sonic proficiency (across drums, bass, keys, and guitar) and airtight arena-size hooks with unforgettable vocals. He harbors an irresistible signature sound, inventive vision, and incomparable identity vaunted by a fervent global fanbase. For as unique as the music is, his story so far proves to be just as unprecedented. This is arguably the first hard rock act to genuinely break out from ground zero in the 2020's, generating north of 100 million streams, toppling charts, and selling out headline tours less than five years since its debut. Back in 2021, Mammoth's first offering, Mammoth WVH, took flight, bowing at #12 on the Billboard 200 and capturing #1 on three Billboard charts--Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Independent Albums, and Top Rock Albums. "Distance" soared as the first of two #1 Rock Radio Hits and earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for "Best Rock Song." Two years later, Mammoth II only saw him pick up the pace. It debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart in addition to bringing him back to #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart. It incited widespread applause from Rolling Stone, Guitar World, GRAMMY.com, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, and KERRANG! The band canvased the globe with Metallica and Pantera and supported Foo Fighters in North America as well as filling houses on their own. They performed on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, at MusiCares 2024 gala in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, and Wolf took the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® Induction of Ozzy Osbourne. Now, Wolfgang pushes forward on Mammoth's third full-length solo LP, The End [BMG].

  • WVH Just Amazing

by Peter on 2023-11-19Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up listening to Van Halen they were my favourite group. And now to see Eddy Van Halen’s son go on his own and we can see the roots of his father’s guitar playing in his. Just an amazing experience.

  • Down to earth and Hard Rock

by Logan B. on 2023-11-18The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Where do I begin. So this is the second time I have seen Mammonth WVH live, the first time being at his previous Toronto show with Alter Bridge. Both shows were beyond amazing. Wolfgang and the rest of the band are very good live. What you hear on the record is pretty well what you'll hear at the concert. Mammoth WVH is also a rather humble band. As this was their first headline show it was a very special moment to be there as it really dawned on Wolfgang as to just how many people came to see him perform. I left the venue barely able to speak from cheering so loudly and it was worth it. Headbanging and singing along to the songs, it was just as good of an experience this time around as it was the first time I saw them. If you are a fan of the band and they are playing anywhere remotely nearby to you, I'd highly suggest going to see them. You will not regret it I can assure you.

  • Great band horrible security team

by Hoping to enjoy myself on 2023-11-17Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

Wolfgang was amazing This cannot be said of the security team Bad attitude.. aggressive/stressed out and Way too much of it One example :during the show I go to the bar with my girlfriend and no one else is at the bar I’m enjoying a drink and a nice chat with the love of my life when when of the power tripping security guys comes along and tells me I have to move when there was absolutely no need for it… No class /no friendly gestures Just a plain simple power trip I will spare you the rest

  • Mammoth WVH show

by Lucy on 2023-11-17Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Great show!! Love the venue! The only criticism I would have is that the sound of the instruments overpowers the vocals but other than that, awesome show!!

  • It was an Epic Night!

    by Eric L. on 2023-11-17Théâtre Beanfield - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

It was an epic night to say the lease. Not only did I bumped into my Friends I also met up with my fellow future rocks stars. Nita Strauss was amazing her skill is unparalleled!! She made guitar playing look easy but oh god was she on fire! And to see Alissa White Gluz sing live with Nita finishing off with The Wolf you Feed was absolutely euphoric! Mammoth WVH came on The son of a true legend. The apple didn't fall off far from the tree. Wolfie is unbelievably talented his performance was absolutely stellar! His band was tight and they pleased the crowd a plenty. I'm pretty sure everyone has an amazing time!
