About

Los Angeles pop-rock band Maroon 5 burst onto the scene in 2002 with debut album Songs About Jane, which featured a successful string of singles that included “This Love,” “Sunday Morning,” and “She Will Be Loved.” Fronted by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Levine, Maroon 5 is rounded out by rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton, and bassist and sampler Sam Farrar.

Maroon 5 have released seven studio albums to date, tracking through blends of rock, funk, R&B, and pop with chart-topping singles like “Moves Like Jagger” and “Sugar.” Having cultivated a reputation for bright production and energetic hooks, the band have headlined multiple world tours and performed at major global events, including the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show in 2019. Known for a staunch commitment to the environment, Maroon 5 have partnered  with non-profit organization Reverb since 2008 to reduce their carbon footprint on tour, and the bandmates are members of the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council).

Over the course of their career, Maroon 5 have earned three Grammy Awards and sold over 120 million records. The band is hitting the road in October of 2025 for the LOVE IS LIKE Tour.

  • Maroon Five Played Well

    by koolgirl18 on 2010-10-30Target Center - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The stage presence of all of the members were amazing. Despite them playing last, for me, they were the most memorable part of the night. I loved the interaction with the audience and I loved how they played a few songs off of the album that wasn't over played on the radio. All and all it was a very good show. The only thing I hated was standing the whole time (everyone in front of me was standing and I couldn't see anything unless I stood as well). If I had a chance to see it again, i would (only I would treat myself and get better seats).

Maroon 5 is by far one of the great performing bands that I have seen in concert. They have the ability, no matter how big the venue to make the concert personable to their fans. This is the second time I have seen them in concert and I wold definitely see them again.

The show was amazing, and Maroon 5 is amazing! Not sure who the opening act was though, that replaced Owl City. They could have been more clear about who they were.. had a sign or something..

  • Magnificent Maroon V

    by 5Nine on 2010-08-05Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The night was hot and so was the show. Mr Levine softened up a bit last night and played with the audience, cracking a joke that left him a in terrible predicament. He couldn't get to that serious place he needed to be to start the song. A few misstarts later he was back in focus. He's pretty darn cute when he's being just a guy. It's amazing how true fans can go crazy when a fabric backdrop falls to the floor only to reveal another fabric backdrop depicting a gritty sepia landscape. You don't need crazy lights shows when the music is great and the lead singer is mesmerizing. Although, what the heck, you can't beat a disco ball in full effect. I felt their performance was less pertentious as in the past as perhaps they have grown more comfortable with the success that took them so long to gain. Playing a few new tunes, but mostly pleasing us with all our favourites, it was the first time this summer that I loved being drenched in sweat. The day started as Wednesday August the 4th, my birthday, but ended sweetly and senously as Sunday Morning.

  • Maroon 5 keeps sounding better

by EnznLaur on 2010-08-05Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

These guys should rock this hard in the studio...Great show, Lead singer, Adam was very engaging with the crowd ...11 rows from the front and dead centre...Couldn't get any better and in all it made for a very memorable evening..

  • Great Music, Just Lacked a Good Show!

by Zdzyloak on 2010-08-05Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The Maroon 5 concert at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre was filled with great music, an older crowd, and talent. Throughout their hour and a half set, the band bolted through mainstream hits, an acoustic set, songs for their previous albums as well as a couple new songs. Despite playing in a large outdoor venue, the band was able to create an intimate environment where fans could interact with the band. Additionally, during many of their hit songs, they requested the help of the audience to help sing backing vocals and create harmonies. My only negative comment about the concert is that, I felt their stage show was not memorable. It was missing some... pyro or effects that are needed in order to make a show. Flashing lights, and background changes are okay, just they are subtle, and the lights are sometimes blinding. In the long run, I'll always remember the quality of music played at this show.
