While we thoroughly enjoyed the concert we found the volume just too loud!! Not sure if there was a problem with the sound system, but it was so loud on some songs that we could not even understand the words. It would have been perfect if the volume could have been toned down a bit.
The most amazing voice in music today!!! The power and clarity that comes out of this beautiful,tiny woman is nothing short of AMAZING.
Excellent venue, Martina was awesome - we had a gigantic birthday party for her!
Martina was great -- I think the music was great but a couple things prevented me from giving this a 5 star rating. The lead act was extremely weak. It started at 7 but finished at 7:30 and everyone had to wait for another 35 minutes for Marina. The crowd although mostly mid age and up were basically drunk for the most part with plenty of face plants, etc -- I was embrassed for some. We left 10 minutes early because I did not want to be anywhere near some of the crowd on the road. I would go again and arrive earlier to get a better vantage point.
I have been a huge Martina McBride fan for as long as she's been an artist. I have been fortunate enough to see her in concert three times before this one, and she just gets better all the time. Anyone able to see her live is truly blessed. It is also so nice to see her truly moved by the audience's response to her. I have also been a fan of Trace's for many years, but only first saw him in Dauphin three years ago. i took a friend of mine with me, and have actually created a monster. She is sooooo much a fan of his, is a member of his fan club and follows his every move. She was lucky enough to win a 'meet & greet' with him before the concert, and will most likely never be the same. Hee hee! All in all, seeing both of these artist's together was a real treat, and well worth the 7-hour drive from Winnipeg for the concert.
This was the second time we have seen Martina. We were sure that there was no way she could top her performance in Winnipeg Canada. Well' the title explains it all. She sang one song after another for over an hour and a half. Belting them out as if each one was the first song of the evening. Where does that voice come from ????????????? She covered the Civic Center in the air and on the floor, still singing as she moved. Trace Adkins has a great following and a great show. His band is as professional as can be. We enjoyed our first time seeing him. We wondered how it was possible for him to be the under card. We believe that only Martina could out do his show. We were treated at the start with Sara Buxton, who also has a good voice. Thank you Martina
