Mat Kearney Tickets

I went to the VIP event before the concert. First, we got to take advantage of the pre-show merch sales. Then they took us into the main room where Mat came out with Tyler, played a few acoustic songs and spent a good 20 minutes talking to us, telling stories and answering questions. We got to take a picture with him, and then had first dibs on spots right at the front of the stage. The concert itself was incredible - Mat is a very sweet mannered man, and he put on a very engaging concert! Best night ever!

Due to the slow service of our waitress we missed the first song of his set - which was "Closer to Love" if I am not mistaken. However! What a performance Mat Kearney put on. He only played for about 40 mins, as Train was playing after him, but he managed to play songs from a few different albums. This guy can sing, perform and do it all. He called someone up to the stage and got him involved. Really enjoyed how he incorporated Vancouver into a few of his songs. Really brought the crowd into it. Every song that he played was next to none. I look forward to seeing him come back to Vancouver! Please play longer next time!!!!!!!

Played for a little over an hour and played all the favorites old and new, interacts a lot with audience and had a little stage dance with half the audience for the encore Hey Mama, was so great and the band is amazing too!

Went to this with my boyfriend, he wasn't a huge fan to begin with. By the end of the concert he was totally blown away. Mat Kearney is so talented and this was the best live show ive ever seen. If he comes back im going for sure, and im bringing anybody who appreciates music with me. Ten out of ten, two thumbs up... GO MAT GO!

The CD doesn't do it justice how well these guys are live.. I wish they had an unplugged album as I like the simple sounds that were played. looking forward to the next show in town!

Loved this gig. Intimate experience and great music. Mat and his 'kitten love rays' are welcome in Vancouver ANYTIME!

Mat Kearney was awesome! His voice was amazing live - didn't hear him miss a note, and his music was groovin. He had such great stage presence, and interacted amazingly well with the audience. It was one of the most enjoyable concerts I have been to. So relaxed and heartfelt, yet very engaging and powerful at times. His opening act - Katie Herzig - was awesome too. Was sure to buy her CD on the way out.

Hands down one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Mat involved the crowd throughout the show and gave a "Storytellers" feel with his explanataion behind many of the songs, making the show an ungforgettable experience. The intimate Rio theatre didn't have a bad seat in the house and the involvement of the crowd from picking songs to bringing people up on stage was fantastic.

Mat kearney has a great voice and unique style. The venue was awesome, good sound and visibility.

Amazing live....he's now in my top 3 favorite performers of all time!!
