About

Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s great female icons.  Her critically-acclaimed eponymous debut album was certified double-platinum.  Etheridge’s popularity built around such memorable songs as Bring Me Some Water,No Souvenirs and Ain't It Heavy for which she won her first Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal. Etheridge hit her commercial and artistic stride with her fourth album, Yes I Amfeaturing the massive hits I’m the Only One and Come to My Window, a searing song of longing that brought her a second Grammy.  The six times platinum album spent more than two and a half years on the album chart.  Etheridge is also an Oscar winner for Best Original Song in 2007.  In 2011 Melissa made her Broadway debut as St. Jimmy in Green Day’s rock opera, American Idiot, where she replaced Billie Joe Armstrong for one week, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Her most recent album, This Is M.E. was released on September 30, 2014.

    Melissa Etheridge, Perfect!!

    by Greener on 2023-07-23

What more can you say about an evening listening to Melissa Etheridge other than, absolutely perfect. She sounds as good now, as when my husband and I started listening to her in the 80’s. The sound, was great as was the venue. We’ll definitely go again if she comes back. Great night out!

    Amazing

Until you see her in concert you really don’t see or appreciate what an extremely talented musician she is! I was in awe. The venue was perfect to see and hear her. Easy to get in and out of. She played all of my favourite songs and made me fall in love with them even more! As Melissa said herself, us Canadian women are strong! And she represents us all❤️

Melissa is an amazing singer, guitar player. At the age of 62, Her voice was still as strong as ever! Maybe even better!! Great show and the venue allowed it to have an intimate vibe. Definitely would see her again. She even jumped on the drums!

Melissa Etheridge has still got it!

by 3 Dog Dad! on 2023-07-23

Melissa Etheridge still has an amazing voice, she is an incredible guitar player. She can play acoustic 12 string or 6 string electric doing rock or blues with the best of them. Her band on this tour are amazing. She played a drum solo with her drummer on the same kit. She sang many of her classic hits for us long time fans. The show was about 2 hours long.

    Fantastic Show

    by Karnie39 on 2023-07-23

Melissa never disappoints. Her guitar playing is phenomenal. I bet her arms and hands require ice at the end of her show! So relatable to her audience as she plays lots of her older stuff so we can sing along, as well as a few new songs. Casino Rama was a great venue to house this show. All seats had an unabstructed view and you could enjoy an adult bevie while listening.
