Melody Gardot Tickets

I agree with comments below… I was listening to Melody for the last 10 years, and was so excited before the show. But unfortunately I didn’t get what I expected. First of all, it was definitely the show of the band, not her own. I wanted to hear her early hits so badly, like “Worrisome heart”, “Your heart as as black as night”, “Love me like a river does”, “My one and only thrill” etc, but alas from great hits was only “Les Etoiles” in a new arrangement. There were a lot of speeches between the song, it was boring, I am sorry. The show was also short. Looked like Melody wasn’t fully engaged in the show. I am really sorry, but I won’t go to her concert for the second time

The stage settings are pretty casual and random, the show was short. Too much solo by the percussion or the drum.

The band was very tight, my preference would have been to hear Melody Gardot sing more with less intrumentals from the band.

Great artist, great show, great venue...what's not to like

First of all, each guest was given a free bottle of water and a popsicle on the way in because the air conditioning was not working at the venue. Show was only 90 minutes and she did not sing two out of her three most popular songs on Spotify. Perhaps there were health or voice issues but I left feeling like I had gone to see her Brazilian percussionist in concert and Melody Gardot just happened to be a band member. Or perhaps it was her French pianist we were seeing with Melody making a cameo. The audience wanted more of her and didn’t get it. More songs played in French or Portuguese than English. Artists need to remember that audience members may have travelled great distances at considerable expense to hear their favourite songs live. When they are not performed there is great disappointment. She only has 5 or 6 that have large play numbers, why not please the audience by singing them? Huge disappointment!!

Forth time experiencing Melody Gardot live...such talent! very gracious and giving with her musicians; did miss hearing her on the piano. Loved the percussionist

Melody Gardot knows how to share her extraordinary voice in music ... and surrounds herself with similar talent! The concert was wonderful, just wish it could have been even longer!

Great Music Great Musicians. Her Amazing Voice which needed more volume because she was overpowered by her band

Just maybe the very best concert I have ever been to. Every musician delivered stunning performances. Melody was so poised and generous to her fellow performers and to the sold out house, it was so intimate and touching. I found the humble excellence and outstanding and surprising inventiveness of the evening’s performances truly inspiring.

A must go for jazz lovers. Impeccable performance.
