One of the best shows I have ever seen, a must see show
An extremely enjoyable, laugh-out- loud evening shared with individuals who get it. Laughed so much at the struggles we women share I cried. It's the second time I've seen this play. The actresses were amazing, the songs used and adapted to the theme hit home. I would go again!!!
Menopause the Musical was a fabulous show. Went with a group of 12 and everyone loved it and thought it was hilarious. Would definitely see it again at some point.
A must see! Get ready to be entertained, laugh and relate. Yes, it targets a woman's audience, but it would give a comical perspective to the gentleman out there!
Enjoyable fun night out. The four ladies are very talented. First Ontario is a great place to see an event like this.
a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours, lots of laughs and fun
I go to quite a bit of theatre around town and I expected something completely different. I expected a story, some character development and a hero's journey from menopausal frustration to wisdom that comes with life experience. Instead we got a disjointed series of excuses for retro songs with words changed for cheap laughs. These performers have heart and amazing voices... it's too bad the material was so weak.
So comical, loved the songs. The women in the play were all fantastic. My friends and I all loved this musical and could relate to the topics and messages. A very enjoyable evening of laughter!
Great show, high energy, lots of laughs and great music.
Best show I have seen for a long time. Just fantastic. The girls were so talented! Hilarious! Never laughed so hard at anything before.
Great show. So incredibly funny. My husband enjoyed it as well. Go and have some fun laughing about life.
Couldn't stop laughing, best show every, great songs the lady's were very funny
I am grateful not as many of my friends were able to attend this event as I had planned. We (my husband and myself) saw this in Vegas and both thought this was one of the funniest shows we have seen in a long time. Not sure if it was the Venue or what but the ambiance didn't seem to be there. The women's voices were amazing and the producers brilliance of changing the lyrics to suit the situation was incredible. Talent!! Not impressed with the sound system of the Venue or the fact that there is no gradual seating. All flat floor seating. If you are more than let's say 10 rows back you pretty much have to watch the large TV screens to see anything. We will definately think twice before booking at the Venue again.
Overall not good at all. Poor sound could not hear the show clearly most of the time.
Menopause the Musical was a fun evening with plenty of laughs. I would recommend it to anyone of any age.
This is a must see for any woman or man/husband with a sense of humour toward women's menopause! A group of girlfriends went together and had so many laughs,
I found it was too much of the same thing and I started looking at my watch after 30 mins. The acoustics were terrible and many of the songs I could only pick out 1/2 of what they were saying. The seating was uncomfortable and difficult to see over anybody that sits in front of you since it is not theatre seating. The 5 people that attended with me were also disappointed. It was a a waste of money.
This show was hilarious. The girls were perfect for the roles they played and I haven't laughed this much in a long time. Great show and I would go again. **** 5 stars for content. Took my husband and told him now you can see that I am not alone and it happens to everyone, it was that right on! Venue - RIVER CREE not great - couldn't get into a restuarant for dinner. The chairs need to be staggered a little so you can see around the people in front of you and the acoustics are not that great. Lots of sound problems.
Not hilarious as billed. No real story line, just popular tunes with the words changed to explain the perils and unpleasant moments of menopause. Had a few laughs, was amused at times, so still an enjoyable evening out. The sound at the River Cree was horrible. Seven of us and we all had trouble making out some of the lyrics to the songs, and with no story line, the lyrics were the whole show. Making matters worse, one of the singers had a malfunctioning microphone. I had just seen Bitter Girls which was very funny, very well produced, so Menopause was a bit of let down.
