    Ok for kids.

A little underwhelming for adults---Lots of fans there though, it seemed.

    Mythbusters was ok

by bonfigliolo on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Hey, I caught one of the 3 T-shirts shot into the audience...that was pretty cool. It was a treat to see Jamie and Adam in person after watching them for years on TV. But the range of things that they can do onstage is much more limited than what they can do on the show. They did a good job to cater the show to the city audience...seeing Col. Chris Hadfield in a suit of armour get shot with paintballs at the show finale was cool.

    Mythbusters: Is this real life?!

by HappyBuster on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I love the Mythbusters TV show and when I heard they were coming to Toronto I had to go! I didn't know what to expect. I thought they would simply review clips from the show and answer questions but no! They did live experiments which were great and they had a lot of interaction with the crowd. Overall the show catered well to all age groups and it was great! I hope to go again!

    That was a blast!

by snakatac on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Brought along 11&7 yr old girls, who watch the TV show too. They loved it, the 11yr old more so. Mostly suitable for kids who've at least seen an episode. The Q&A sometimes didn't keep all their interest but no matter. Started out with a clip of each host giving a tour of the TV show's work space (Adam showed us his area & his toys including props from Jason Bourne movie, Star Wars, etc) Tho interesting, it had me worried about the pace of the show - wish it'd been more tightly edited to be shorter. Funny guys (in their own characteristic ways), exciting wild stuff (woman next to me kept inhaling, "WHAT?!" every time they announced what they had in mind. I don't know if she knows the show, but there was a clearly implied, "Are they OUT OF THEIR MINDS?!" Heh heh, I loved that. Crowd was totally onboard, you'd've thought it was a hometown crowd - Adam even said in response he wanted to come back in 6mth not 2 yrs. The hosts took us through many of their <blown up into> finest moments <pieces>. Such a wild ride. Heard a lot about their insurance company having conniptions - well someone's gotta keep these 2 alive! The Q&A revealed a lot, loved it. Of course wish they'd given out more fan merch than they did, in their Mythbusters way of course. Thrilled to see Cdn astronaut Chris Hadfield, who took part in a stunt. Wish he'd've signed autographs! When can I buy tickets to the next show?!

    Great show but......

by Hipdude on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Adam and Jamie put on a great show but if you have been to a show on their last tour a few years ago, then it's almost like watching a re-run. Most of the demonstrations and stories are the same. The only real difference was the Q&A part since there were different questions from the audience. I feel misled by the tour statement that the show was "all-new" when it was not.(http://www.mythbusterstour.com/about). So, if you saw their show on the last tour, save your money unless you don't mind watching a re-run.

    Mythbusters

by pamooch on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

except for the fact that we couldn't view the whole large video screen, it was a good event....they had TV's on the side, but were too small to view....

    Great experience for all ages!

by Aimzee on 2014-01-12Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This show was a great experience for any age. They had the audience engaged and even had audience participants which I think is a great way to improve awareness in science and having people appreciate what they do on their television show.

    Up Close and Personal

by lovebooks on 2013-12-03Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Our seats were Row D in the Right Center section. Totally awesome seats. Me and my friends were so happy to get a chance to see Jamie & Adam live. They are a great pair! It was nice to see audience participation, just like being part of a science class. Definitely worth the money!

We knew going in the show couldn't possibly live up to the magic of tv. Still a little disappointed.

A great balance of entertainment and education in typical Mythbuster fashion.

Using the audience to augment the show was a terrific idea. My son's favorite part was Jamie's paint ball gun, now he wants one for Christmas! Everyone who had a hand it in the production of the show deserves a huge THANK YOU!

Awesome to see these guys live!

by Jperr on 2013-12-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The experiments they showed left a little to be desired, but hearing these guys relate tales from their show and other work is so cool. Also watching audience members go up was great! Loved the ending experiment with the anti-aircraft paint gun...WICKED! And we got a t-shirt from their t-shirt cannon all the way up on the first balcony.

    Can you feel it?

by computercowboy on 2013-12-02Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Adam and Jamie were on stage right there in front of us. They brought their knowledge of science and what they do on the show and transformed it into an interactive stage show with plenty of audience participation. The sound system was optimally tuned to allow the audience an opportunity to feel an explosion like Adam and Jamie do when they are blowing something up. Really cool!

    Watch it for the humour

by panfin on 2013-12-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

If you actually care about the science past an elementary school level, this isn't the place to look for it. Adam and Jamie are very funny people and fabulous presenters though, so the show was still very enjoyable. They know how to work the crowd.

Only if you really want to see Adam and Jamie

by DR2013 on 2013-12-02Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

My kids (11 and 14) seemed to enjoy it because they were able see Adam and Jamie from TV . . .which was 'pretty cool.' But the show itself was pretty dull, frankly. Demonstrations you would expect to see at a high school science fair, lots of video on the screen, and a Q&A session with each. If tickets were $25, and not $80+ I would probably be more forgiving.
