The evening's performance was one of the best ballets we have seen over the years. "Prayers for the Fallen"showing backdrops of all the cities that were destroyed during this war was heart-wrenching. The presentation by Humanite Canada was interesting and welcomed. Our hearts go out to all Ukrainians May peace come soon.
If ever there was perfection in ballet, the Nadiya Dance Ensemble/National Ballet of Ukraine accomplished it. Technical and artistic execution was superb, as was the interpretation of music. This small ensemble from the larger ballet company maintained stamina, focus and excellence to the end.
The show was totally amazing! the artists went above and beyond to show their technique and emotions! From the beginning to the end my sight didnât leave the stage! I am very thankful to the organizers for bringing Ukrainian ballet đ©° to Montreal! Totally worth it! A must see!
The show is excellent, and it's definitely a must-see. I'd like to note that the show captivates not only adults but also children. My 11-year-old daughter was very impressed with this performance. The ballet show was an absolute masterpiece. The grace and precision of the dancers left me in awe. The choreography was breathtaking, seamlessly weaving a narrative through each movement. The costumes added a touch of enchantment, enhancing the visual spectacle. The music complemented the performances perfectly, creating a mesmerizing experience. I highly recommend this ballet show to anyone seeking a captivating and culturally rich artistic experience.
I was lucky to attend the show "Nadyia Ukraine"of the National Ballet of Ukraine in Montreal. The dancers on stage did not let go of our attention for a minute. It was a spectacle performance. Magnificent dancers and beautiful costumes.
Attending the National Ballet of Ukraine's "Nadyia Ukraine"in Quebec City was an extraordinary experience. With almost 50 dancers, the three-hour performance seamlessly blended renowned ballet excerpts and traditional Ukrainian dances. Meticulous costume changes and a stunning play of lights added visual splendor. Proceeds support the arts and Ukrainian non-profits, making it a must-see for art enthusiasts and supporters alike.
Attending the National Ballet of Ukraine in Quebec City was an extraordinary experience. This globally acclaimed ballet company, hailing from Kyiv's Taras Shevchenko National Opera House, delivered a three-hour performance featuring excerpts from renowned ballets and traditional Ukrainian dances. With 150 dancers, 23 on the Canadian tour, the company showcased impeccable skill and artistry. The meticulous attention to detail, including over 10 costume changes and a stunning play of lights, added layers of visual splendor to the performance. Beyond the captivating artistry, attending supports a noble cause. Proceeds contribute to the arts and talented artists, while sponsorships and donations aid non-profit organizations in Ukraine. The show, titled "Hope of Ukraine,"resonates with the spirit of resilience. I highly recommend "the National Ballet of Ukraine"to art lovers and those wanting to support Ukraine. Don't miss this chance to witness a magnificent show while standing in solidarity with a nation in need.

I had the privilege of attending a performance by the Nadiya Dance Ensemble from Ukraine in the past, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment the dancers took the stage, they captivated the audience with their extraordinary talent, precision, and passion, creating a mesmerizing journey through the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture.
Haven't attended a performance in Vancouver yet. All the advertising for the Canada Tour, shows absolutely no program information whatsoever. I'm would love to see this company perform but I'm not prepared to purchase what I perceive as very expensive tickets without knowing what the program is! Some ballets I am not terribly interested in, others, very much!
