Newsies (NY) Tickets

"Newsies" on Broadway is a great show. Fantastic energy and a good story line. Highly recommend.

Not the greatest score, kind of repetitive, but the choreography and dancing itself was very strong. I was quite taken with Kara Lindsay as Katherine; she added a snarky Chenowethian quality to her put-down lines that I liked. And for me, Joshua Colley stole the show by being unbearably cute. The book was, however, rather thin, and the plot itself quite predictable, given that it was a Disney production. Still, a decent fun evening, all told.

Non stop action, funny moments, superb dancing. Went by quickly even though it was 2.5 hours. Would see again.

In comparison to the other Broadway shows we saw, Newsies was okay but we wished we had seen something else.

Newsies is one of the best musicals we have had the pleasure of seeing (and we have seen alot of musicals). The energy of this show is infectious and the audience was electrified from the start of the overature. 18 of the most technically strong male dancers i have ever witnessed. A MUST SEE!

My sister with her family coming to new your next december so i bout ticket for all of them to make sure that i have the ticket i am sure they will love it, you know i will be with them again my daughter wrote a big review in her school about this play and i think after that many of her friends will try to see it

Newsies has a phenomenal cast: they can sing, they can dance (oh my goodness, can they ever dance!) and they can act. There is a brotherhood amongst the newsies that shines on stage and you can feel their bond. The show is based on the real-life strike of 1899, when newsies around New York stopped working to fight for better wages. It's a great pick-me-upper kind of a show that encourages the younger generation to stand up for their rights. It does so through song and dance, thus avoiding becoming too political. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A fun show for kids and adults alike.

The dancing is amazing! Disney always produce excellent shows.

A fantastic play. It was well written and well acted. The young men were incredibly talented. The actor who portrayed Jack Kelly was outstanding. The play did the movie and Disney proud. Absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend any of my friends or family to go see it.

My sister and I have grown up with Newsies and we were highly anticipating seeing it on Broadway! All I have to say is Wow wow wow!!! Amazing job done on every single cast member!! It was worth the travel from Toronto, Canada!!! I would see it again and again!!! Come to Toronto!!!!! JOB WELL DONE!!!

A total "MUST SEE"!!!!! just a fabulous show from start to finish.

This is simply a fun, energetic musical with a highly talented cast. Corey Cott is exceptional in the lead role. Great voice, great acting and strong strong performer. If you want a good old fashioned fun time at a musical, I would definately recommend Newsies. One of the best I've seen, and I go ever year to see shows. Congrats to all the Newsies cast for a professional performance and overall great time.

The storyline is great, the singing is great too, but it's really the dancing that's the best. The whole cast is very talented. King of New York and Seize the Day are amazing!

Being a big Newsies fan since the movie came out in '92, I found the stage version to be similar enough for me to relate to, but different enough from the movie to keep me entertained. Though some parts I felt were missing. HIGHLIGHTS - dancing, full company choreo routines were amazing. The use of set pieces to create so many "scenes" was brililant. Vocal harmony was flawless. LOW LIGHTS - some over-acting; making characters less believable, that with the relatively simplistic plot made the show seem less "Broadway" Overall, the show had quite a number of very well performed pieces, but somehow it didn't totally pull together for me.

Great dancing by cast. Singing was good as well. Storyline however was simple and predictable. I would not recommend to my adult friends. However, my 20 year old and 16 year old daughters very much enjoyed the show, the music and the dancing.

A fabulously entertaining, and very high energy show that has great music, a great cast, a clever set, and unbelievable dancing that is completely mind blowing! An over all amazing show!

It was well worth the trip to NYC to watch this show!

A 6 out of 10 and that's only because of the energy of the cast. It's been 4 days and I can't remember a single melody. Totally forgettable. Because there were so many empty seats, my partner and i moved to something much more comfortable.
