    Great event

by Jeff on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

It's was a fun experience. Line-ups were too long and hours could have been better.

    Wow, great afternoon out.

by Nick on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

From start to finish a great time was had. The middle music performance I didn't feel was grand enough, now if we had a big name performing like "The Weekend"or another major star, that would of rounded off the whole performance / game.

    An Amazing Experience

by Ruthead on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

The NHL All-Star Fan Fair was significantly better than I would have expected. Not only did we meet former and current NHL players, but others involved in the game. We also received a lot of free stuff. From food (pizza, lobster rolls, chips), to drinks, personalized hockey cards, sticks and others, we came home with a big bag of stuff. All in all, it was a phenomenal event that I would go to again.

Too crowded and lines were long.

by Jas A on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

It was alright, but every booth had a line that was probably 30-60mins long! We ended up doing very little. Some of the booths you even had to pay for! It was overwhelming and difficult to navigate with young children. To get to the convention area we had to take like 3 different elevators it was very inaccessible. I wouldn't do it again.

    Decent Fan Fair

by Superman1609 on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Decent fan fair. Some cool things to do. However, food choices not great and you could not leave to eat and be allowed back in. Also, lines were really long. Still had a good time with my daughter.

    Fan Fair

by GG on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

We enjoyed all the various activities at Fan Fair and promotional giveaways. There was something for all age groups. The only down side was the long lineups to meet and players. It would have been a better experience if they handed out a certain number of wristbands. This would have saved time waiting hours in line and not being able to meet the player.

NHL All Star Toronto Fan Fair 2024

by Jen S on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

This was simply outstanding. As a resident of Toronto and a lifelong hockey fan, I was blown away by the sheer size of the event. Although I have been to the Metro Convention Centre many times, I was unprepared for the transformation. It was so well laid out, the decor and lighting phenomenal, the variety of displays, multi age-level items and activities, shopping - plus meet&greets and the giant Stanley Cup movie wall —- so much there, yet it never felt overcrowded or tacky. It was super-organized and totally classy from top to bottom. The store was pricey so my shopping was minimal, but there was something for every budget. A highlight was the Hockey For All museum, which was so cool but not preachy or accusatory. It was just a celebration of excellence and joy. I’ve also been to the Hockey Hall of Fame many times. They set up an almost identical trophy display of their Great Hall, which was also well spaced, lots of room for everyone, well lit and well explained. The huge wall where an original mural was being painted was fascinating. The hands-on activities and games were fantastic, tons of freebies, so many ways to experience and try out different parts of the game, and literally EVERYTHING was included with admission price. As I said, it was just variety from end to end, no shortage of things to look at, to try, to experience or participate in. All was filled with a spirit of joy and camaraderie, everyone felt like part of the big family of hockey, no matter where you are from. The branding was everywhere, adding to the excitement of the NHL’s best coming to Toronto for a celebration of skill, history, achievements and always an eye to the future of the game. Every age group was represented and everyone was having a fantastic time. Lastly, staff were fun, friendly and super-helpful. Toronto and the NHL outdid themselves with this event. I was lucky enough to also have tickets to the skills competition that evening. However, for fans that could only experience the Fan Fair for the Toronto NHL All-Star Weekend 2024, this event was seriously more than enough to satisfy and entertain everyone to their hockey heart’s content.

A great day at the NHL All Star Fan Fest!

by Dave on 2024-02-06Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

The games were great and the food and beverage services were very well done...especially the free stuff! The variety of activities was amazing and the services provided by security and staff at the various booths was outstanding. The lineups to enter and at some of the events were quite long, but generally moved along reasonably well except for the autograph and picture sessions. Overall...a very memorable experience!

    Lack of Merch.

by KSAC on 2024-02-05Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Relatively nothing in terms of merchandise for kids. Went on Friday and couldn’t even get a jersey for my kids. Really disappointing to only grab them a stuffed mascot or pin otherwise not much to offer

What a great day of hockey fun!

by Michelle on 2024-02-05Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

The kids big and small all had such a great time at the fan fair! They had so many activities for hockey lovers of all ages and lots of free giveaways! We found the cost of coat check was a bit crazy but carrying your coat everywhere would have been a pain. My boys could have stayed there all day!

    Had a blast!

by Dawniekay on 2024-02-05Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

If you’re a fan of hockey and maybe even more so, of the Blue and White, you were very proud of the job done by Toronto in hosting this event. As a super fan, I really enjoyed fanfare, and the variety of experiences available to you! The 4 Maple Leafs were excellent hosts! The only drawback was the singing of the 🇨🇦 anthem! 🥴😩I wonder if their ear pieces were not working. Has to be some valid excuse.

Fun, but could have been so much better

by Mimz on 2024-02-05Metro Toronto Convention Centre - Toronto

Toronto hosting the league and there weren't signs, banners all over either entrance. No vendors other then fanatics, all sponsors. One room, albeit a decent size room. There could have been so much more stuff! Local vendors, local products, local food. Stuff to show off why Toronto is crazy for hockey. I was at the MLB all star game in Miami and in Toronto and both fanfests were amazing! So much stuff. For kids, it was definitely worth it, my son loved all the activities that were there. The NHL and Toronto did that well. But it should have been a hockey convention, like comicon, but hockey.
