From his days as a boy band pioneer with the Backstreet Boys to his current reign as a respected solo artist, Nick Carter has remained a consummate entertainer. His abilities as a singer and dancer are well established, but where Carter really shines is in his ability to connect with audiences through deeply personal storytelling on stage. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in New York and raised in Florida, Carter was a successful child actor before joining the Backstreet Boys in 1993 at age 12. The group skyrocketed to international superstardom in the mid-‘90s with a series of hit albums and singles that established them as the top-selling boy band of all time, with more than 130 million records sold worldwide. Carter made his solo debut in 2002 with the album Now Or Never, a Top 20 hit on the Billboard 200 that featured the singles “Help Me” and “I Got You”. Since then Carter has continued to record and perform both solo and with the Backstreet Boys, and in 2014 he collaborated with New Kids on the Block alum Jordan Knight for the duet album Nick & Knight. A consummate performer known for his pitch-perfect singing and razor-sharp dancing, Carter continues to thrill fans on the Nick & Knight tour 2014.

The abundance of covers seemed to overshadow the brilliance of his original work, leaving fans yearning for a stronger connection to his unique sound. A reimagined setlist, prioritizing his own songs, would undoubtedly have elevated the concert experience.
The performance by Nick Carter missed the mark, with an overwhelming reliance on cover songs that eclipsed the magic found in his own gems like 'Love Can't Wait' and 'So Far Away.' The show lacked a personal touch, and a recalibration of the playlist to showcase more of his original work would have allowed the audience to connect on a deeper level with Nick Carter's distinctive style, making for a more satisfying and authentic show.
Having been a lifelong BSB fan, but never having gone to one of their solo shows, I didn't know what to expect. Nick put on a fantastic show, covering many BSB classics, as well as a bunch of 80s hits and solo songs. I thoroughly enjoyed the show, have added new songs to my playlist and am so so happy I was able to hear "Just Want You To Know"live as it is one of my favs and has never been performed at BSB concerts. Check it out if you have the chance - you will not regret it!

Nick's show was so full of energy. There was a lot of everything: Backstreet songs, Nick solo songs and some great 80s covers. Great vocals, performance and some amazing arrangements of some classic hits. I went to 3 shows and would recommend anyone to go see this show.

This man is an absolute dream! If you want to see a show you have to see Nick Carter. One sang for two hours straight. He had a perfect mix of Backstreet Boys, 80s music and his own content. This was one of the best nights i have had in a very long time. Not only is he a true professional, he sings like an absolute Angel. I wish I had gone the two night he was in the falls. That's my only regret. You NEED to go see Nick live.
I have seen Nick with the Backstreet Boys many times over the years, but this was my first time seeing him solo. He was honestly amazing. I really enjoyed the variety of music he sang…cover songs, his own songs and of course some Backstreet Boys. His band was awesome too. So much talent! The Fallsview Casino theatre was a great space. Only complaint is that the only non-alcoholic beverage was water. Overall an amazing night out.
