Our night of Night Fever and Abbamania was awesome. We sang almost every song with the group and it felt like we were with the real bands. I would definetely go again.

  • We loved ABBA. The sound was great.

Abba And the BeeGees were very entertaining and the sound was great. We enjoyed the whole show.

  • Abbamania, the WSO and Elvis were great

Abbamania, the WSO and Elvis were great. The Bee Gees opening the show were boring... Great show by the Abba girls. I would pay again to listen to the fantastic WSO with Abbamania and laugh with Elvis.

  • Night Fever, Elvis and AbbaMania + WSO = GREAT!

My wife and I took our 3 school age kids and loved the performance of Night Fever, Elvis and Abba Mania with the WSO. The orchestra sounded great accompanying the performers. Each of the tribute bands were spot on with their singing, musicianship, and presentation. Barry Gibb sounded as good as the real thing! Abba Mania made me feel like I was at a real ABBA concert in their heyday. Kudos to the WSO to putting on such a great show.

  • The BeeGee's and Abba Mania where wonderful!

I think these kinds of shows are the best thing in the world!... especially for the Symphony! The Winnipeg Symphony is atypical in that they really seem to get into it with these Classic Rock acts. I've been involved in one of these shows with a Stevie Nicks Tribute called NearlyNicks in Dallas and there seemed to be a different mind set over there. An undertone of this being BENEATH the status of an Orchestra of note. Not nearly the open fun-loving attitude there. The Orchestras of today benefit hugely in how this kind of thing broadens the appeal of the orchestra to another kind of audience and demographic. Rock on, WSO!! You guys really made the show!!

  • Night Fever was awesome!

The Bee Gees tribute band was excellent; amazing voices and sounded exactly like them; with the Symphony Orchestra was amazing sound. Definitely worth seeing and hearing again. Abamania was ok; sounds were great, but a bit too much "dancing and moving around" detracted from the amazing sound of the band and the excellent symphony orchestra. Elvis tribute was ok. Again the symphony Orchestra made the sound exceptional.

Excellent concert. Enjoyed all the acts and the Symphony. Would definitelyl go to future similar events. Elvis did a few songs and it would have been nice to see him do a few more.

  • Enjoyable evening of songs

Enjoyed the concert. This is my first time hearing the Night Fever and Abbamania groups and was impressed. While the Bee Gee group was good I found Robin somewhat disappointing by missing several key tones, but Barry was great making up for Robin's misses. The Abbamania group was very entertaining and right on as for as the sound was concerned.
