    Norah Jones A class act!!

by AMFY on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

Toronto was blessed with another Class Act at Massey Hall last night, Norah Jones casually walked out with her 5 piece band, and started the show with songs from her new CD The Fall, A nice mix of old and new material From the very first note to the last!! the sound as usual just awesome. The stage simple yet elegant, allowed Norah to express herself to the sold out crowd. A pleasure to see anywhere anytime!! There's your money, Just give me my ticket!!

    Excellent.

by MrDoodle on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

Steven Page (from Bare Naked Ladies) was outstanding. He had so much energy and was very funny. And boy can he blast out the vocals! Norah was excellent. I miss her long hair but she still looks and sounds terrific. She was wearing a very trendy dress. Remined me ot the Jetson's cartoon from my youth. The only negative was the complete change of the band to new members. Maybe they were as good as the original guys but I still felt disappointed. Would have been nice if one or two of the originals were still around. Norah's new music is growing on me. Glad to see she is trying new stuff.

    She was Great

    by Moh33 on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

I had great seat, she was great, I have to say i am not in Love with the new album but love her old songs, the acoustics could have been a bit better, and i know it is a historical building and all but i think if they upgrade the seats it will not take much out of the value of the place.

    Norah was EXCEPTIONAL!!

by DeyVee on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

Norah quietly appeared on the stage as she always does with a quick little wave and "HI!". Her voice was amazing as always playing many of the songs from her new album and the older favourites. I 100% enjoyed the moments.

    Page/Jones were great...

by SJones on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

First time for me at Massey Hall and really enjoyed the concert. Right at 8:00pm Steven Page came out guitar in hand along with a cellist (Kevin Fox) and performed some of his new songs and some of the 'Naked Ladies songs. He did very well, playing non stop for45 minutes with only breaks to explain and make light of his recent issues and new direction. The crowd seemed very appreciatitiive of his performance. I have seen Nora a few times before and she was her usually great performance. She played a lot of her new album, 'Chasing Pirates' and blended in some of her older work nicely. While not much dialogue between sets, she did play for 90 minutes straight till this ended close to 10:45 pm Massey Hall is a great place to see and hear concerts and will go back again. The seats are a bit of an issue as they are cramped and wood but otherwise a great event.

    Norah Jones was breathtaking

by count on 2010-03-24Massey Hall - Toronto

We had a great time at the Norah Jones concert last night. Ms. Jones was most impressive. She started out on guitar, moved to an very old synthesizer, then settled in at the piano, which was faced right at our section. Her band was stellar.

Wonderful sound, horrible stage set up. She was out of view for over half of the show!
