Nurse Blake (born Blake Lynch) is a touring comedian, creator and licensed nurse who’s worked in level one trauma centers since graduating from nursing school in 2013. To cope with the stress of nursing school, Blake began posting comedic videos on Facebook and sharing his experience. From his first viral sketch, 2017’s “The Scrub Romper,” to 2019’s “New Nurses Be Like…,” Blake has amassed over 3.5 million followers — including frontline workers and RNs who connected with his relatable sketches — across social media. In 2013, Blake launched Banned4Life to end the FDA’s ban on gay and bisexual blood donations, which contributed to lifting the lifetime ban in 2015. Following his nationwide PTO Comedy Tour, which sold over 120,000 tickets, Nurse Blake was dubbed a "genuine phenomenon" by The New York Times in 2022. He is also the author of the bestselling children's book I Want To Be A NURSE When I Grow Up.

What a great show! Laughed the whole way through. Highly recommend you go see Nurse Blake!
I laughed so much I felt I did sit ups after the show. My abdominal muscles were sore for 24 hours. I highly recommend!
Warning. If you're offended by swearing or dark humor this show is not for you. It was absolutely hilarious! Can't wait for him to tour again. It was an hour and a half of nurse Blake, no openers no intermission just him. The show flows so well. Had a great time!
I was expecting a little different, more sweet and funny like his videos, than raunchy and racy. It was an ok show but not as much fun as I'd hoped. I realize know that "Shock Advised"means the content is more shocking, but didn't know that going in. I wasn't exactly offended but the senior aged nurse I attended with was pretty put off.
This is not a family show! Prepare to be roasted and have an awesome F-ing time! My face hurt from laughing so hard. Such a great stress relief to have someone understand and just laugh hard about our healthcare lives. He hits all the funny bones! He even had fun with the differences from Canada to USA , but honestly, seems like healthcare issues/laughter is universal. Will absolutely go every single time Nurse Blake comes this way! You will hear profanity, he is very honest and if you’re easily offended, get over it and go laugh anyway!
Nurse Blake’s comedy show was out of this world! Not only was he hilarious but jokes were so relatable to real life situations. 😂😂 Would love for him to do another tour to Canada.
I had the best time and I laughed so hard. It was so great to hear some comedy I could relate to so well. It was honestly worth every minute of the show! Thank you Nurse Blake!
Non stop laughing for two hours! My cheeks and abs were sore from laughing so long and hard. Nurse Blake’s show is the cure to every nurses frustrations. He helps you laugh through your stress. I even learned some new medical terminology like “Cooter Canoe”. Will smile for years about that one.
Not as good as I had hoped….could have done without all the bad language & crude jokes. Didn’t expect it to be totally clean but just left disappointed….I know I wasn’t the only one
Nurse Blake was hilarious. I would trust him as the nurse for my grandpa any day.
Nurse Blake put on an amazing show! He was a great entertainer and was great at engaging the audience through it all. Highly recommend!
Nurse Blake brought all the laughs. 90min was way too short!
The nurse Blake show was great, he was so funny and the length of the show was perfect. The danforth music hall is very old and in need of repairs and updating. The gender neutral bathrooms where awful. There was men using the urinal while women lined up beside them to use the 2 stalls in the bathroom. It made my husband uncomfortable to use the urinal with women lined up in the the bathroom and holding the door open. My friend was also uncomfortable as a women using the bathroom with men in there at the same time.
I have not laughed that hard in a long time! Nurse Blake is a riot and brought a group of healthcare workers ( and some +1s) together in the best way possible. Especially after the pandemic and the current state of the healthcare systems worldwide, it was refreshing to be able to relate to your seat mates and share a laugh about this crazy world of nursing that we all love (albeit sometimes grudgingly). 10/10 would see again 😂
We really enjoyed Nurse Blake. Laughed and laughed. I would definitely see him again. But the venue - oh my!!!! I have to say I was embarrassed for Toronto to be hosting him in such a run down venue. The water stains and decay in the ceiling. The paint peeling and general neglect. Danforth Music Hall you can do better. Time for a refurbishment or renovation.
