  • What an Awesome Show!!!!

by seagrrlz on 2013-08-27The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I saw Old Crow Medicine Show play! It was a great show. Music was amazing and the venue well suited. Danforth Music Hall has great sound and acoustics. Only issue was the sloped cement floor, hard on the feet. Daniel Romano was the opening act. I got there just in time to catch the last 3 songs but he was pretty good as well, old school country.

Old Crow did a great show on Friday night. If you missed it , to will probabally be the last time you 'll see them in a small venue. They worked the crowd to a roar and fed off the energy . Loved It. Don&Holly

  • OCMS was CRAZY!!

The only band I've ever seen put on a better show was Pink Floyd!

overall .........very entertaining......some sound issues....base drum too loud....couldn't hear mandolin...............warm up guy(too much treble).......however the show was generally very good.

  • OCMS was amped up!

by Chiver on 2013-08-26The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great energy, great performers. This is the kind of venue that you want to see an awesome live band. Guys hammed it up and really looked like they were enjoying themselves. Only downside was lack of washrooms.

  • New Years At the Ryman with OCMS & Pokey LaFarge

    by Tilly1031 on 2013-01-05Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The most amazing concert i have ever been to. Big fan of OCMS and a first for Pokey LaFarge. An amazing way to bring in the New Year. First time in a ton of years were everyone stood through the entire concert. Lighting was top notch, sound was perfect (always is at the Ryman) and the acts where second to none.

    by Tilly1031 on 2013-01-02Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

By far, this was THE best concert I have seen at the Ryman, in fact, one of the best concerts I have ever been to in my life. Old Crow did not disappoint. This was my first time seeing Pokey LaFarge and I would recommend a must see to anyone. Takes one back to the old days when electronics was non existent and one relied on real ingenuity and real talent

  • great band, terrible venue

by Giggler18 on 2010-07-14The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The sound system at the Pheonix leaves something to be desired. For real music lovers, it was dissapointing, especially when I have heard the band live twice before and it was just magical. Besides the sad sound system, the amount of young drunks at the show ruined it somewhat for those of us who wanted to actually hear and enjoy the sounds of all of the instruments and great vocals. The band needs to pick another venue for their next Toronto gig.
