About

Old Dominion is a Grammy-nominated pop/country band known for the hit singles “One Man Band” and “Break Up with Him,” as well as their platinum-certified 2015 debut album Meat and Candy, a Billboard 200 hit that was praised by everyone from Rolling Stone to NPR. The Nashville-based country rockers — composed of singer Matthew Ramsey, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers — was formed in 2007 and originally honed their songwriting skills by authoring hits for everyone from Luke Bryan and Keith Urban to Kenny Chesney and Cole Swindell. The act has landed a total of 10 Top 10s on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart to date, and has played sold-out arenas worldwide.

  • Old Dominion show with Jordan Davis

by sisterlines on 2019-06-16The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I had seen both Jordan Davis and Old Dominion in concert. Have enjoyed their music on the radio, but had not seen them live. I did not think Jordan's sound was that great - I don't mean him or his songs, just the sound all together. It was hard to hear what he was saying, not sure if it was too much "something and not enough of something else"! I'm not a sound person so can't give you the technical details. It would have been nice if he was on the big screen instead of just his name, for those people who were up in the mezzanine. Now Old Dominion - a completely different story. They were AMAZING. The sound was crystal clear. It was wonderful that they were on the big screen and they showed all the band members and you could see everything - even us in the mezzanine could see. I LOVE their music, but hands down my favourite part was when they sat down on the stools and talked about their journey, their music and their songs. I LOVE when artists do that. Yes, I like their music, but it's so much more when they take the time to tell you where the songs came from and I was surprised to find they wrote for so many other artists. I will definitely go and see them again, and I will definitely go and see something else at the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor, as it was the first time I had been there as well.

  • Great Show

  • Old Dominion and Washboard Union were very impress

by WillowMay on 2018-02-16Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

Going to the Grey Eagle Casino for the first time was an overall pretty good experience. Huge amount of people and tons of staff. Some line ups but really yhey didn't take that long for merchandise, drinks, entry, and womans washroom. The coat check definitely took the longest. The gap between arts was a bit long, but gave you time to hit the loo and get a drink. Drinks were pricey, but adequate selection. I found it was a bit smokey from the casino attached. We personal skipped last few hits from Old Dominion as the parking exit looked like it was going to be long and wild. The concert took place on a really bad weather day. I was home by 11pm. All Bands were impressive, but I am a huge Washboard Union and Old Dominion Fan. The lighting and music was perfect. I would go back ro see the artists and to the venue again

  • Opening bands to die for. OD slayed.

The Washboard Union and Shawn Hook were phenomenal! Old Dominion was just as amazing. The security staff at the event were completely unprofessional. The lead singer asked to have some punks removed, but the security kept them in. That’s pretty pathetic.

Enjoyable but lacked excitement. Washboard Union was great!

  • Old Dominion and opening acts were amazing!!

Loved the harmony and instrumental talent of this band. Great lyrics too.

  • Fantastic!

by KayMilo on 2018-02-12Sandman Centre - KamloopsRating: 4 out of 5

Not only was Old Dominion amazing, Washboard Union and Cold Creek County were also fantastic! All three bands sounded just as good as they do on their albums, which is something I find hard to come by these days! Great show boys!

  • Old Dominion rocked it!

by AndersJC on 2018-02-11Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The opening acts started off a bit slow because I don’t think much of the crowd knew Cold Creek County. They played a good set and The Washboard Union definitely came in to kick the show into gear for Old Dominion. The Old Dominion set list was fairly good. They had good energy and got the crowd into it.

Old Dominion is amazing live and I can't wait for them to come back!

  • Old Dominion Edmonton was one of the best concerts

by CFED on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fantastic music experience. All three acts were fantastic in their own way. Old Domionion is so cool, a bit retro, a little bit jazz, pop with a country heart. I loved Washboard Union and Cold Creek County. Great Canadian acts.

  • Just OK

    by bigfan13 on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Too much time between acts. The songs ( Old Dominion) all sounded like a cross between rap, country and rock, with the exception of the ones that have made it on the radio. They should stick to those sounds, obviously they are on the radio for a reason. Cold Creek Canyon was good, but the sound wasn't. washboard Union was great! Best part of the show.

  • Old Dominion - A Night I Won't Forget!

by kalozo on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

What an AMAZING show!! Myself & 3 other ladies had tickets in the pit, got their at a great time to be able to be standing right at the stage. Old Dominion and their 2 openers (Cold Creek County, and Washboard Union) put on a show I will never forget. I would highly recommend seeing all three of these bands, I know I will again.

  • Old Dominion is Always Amazing

by Phyllisr on 2018-02-09Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I've gone to see Old Dominion, the first was during Country Thunder in Calgary. This band is amazing, one of those groups that is even better live than digitally enhanced. They have a great presence and their music is fabulous. I'm going again when they come during Stampede, they are not to be missed!

  • Old Dominion hit the mark!

by bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The entire show including Old Dominion, Washboard Union and Cold Creek County was fantastic. High energy and engaged with the audience! The venue was just the perfect size with great sound. The music was incredible. Totally loved the show!

  • All three bands were amazing!

by Twiggs on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Cold Creek Country, The Washboard Union and Old Dominion were all amazing. I took my 8 yo and 11 yo for their first concert to this and it sure did not disappoint. The girls were singing along to the songs and had a blast. The concert ran a little late for them so we left a few minutes early but was still well worth staying up too late!

  • Loved the small area Setting.

by Anonymous on 2018-02-09Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Half stadium set-up gave it a more intimate concert. Sound was clear and visibility was excellent. No need for a monitor to see what was going on on stage. Cold Creek, Washboard Union and Old Dominion complimented each other as bands.

  • Awesome

Fantastic concert. Good value and a great nigh out.

  • Old Dominion is amazing!

by LeahC13 on 2018-02-08Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The show was really great but considering iy was mostly standing room only and that it was on a Monday, it was a bit long. One opening act and the main attraction would’ve been much better for everyone standing for over 3 hours!

Absolutely Outstanding! Incredible show with an amazing performance!
