Really enjoyed the concert! These boys are very talented and are amazing live! Absolutey loved how they were interactive with the crowd the entire time! Twitter question- genius idea!
Overall, fantastic show. I love how they don't need to dance in sync to put on a good show. Sang amazing live, BOTH nights. Yes, i attended both nights (worth the money for both). The only thing that drove me nuts was the screaming girls. I get it, they're cute, and dreamy but really...it was so unnecessary. One Direction themselves did great, the lyric changes..the jokes on stage..the dual dances. It was a great show. 5SOS (the opening band) were Fantastic also, definitely made me a fan.
The event was fantastic. Everyone in our group had a great time. Awesome show, would definitely go see 1D again.
My daughter and her friend had been waiting for this concert forever. They had an absolutely fantastic time.
The best concert ever! This was my first time seeing One Direction and they were amazing! I went with my sister and we both had a great time. I would go again next year!
WOW WHAT A SHOW!!! These boys never stop impressing. This was my second time seeing them live in concert and their vocal abilities only increased (the first time was when they performed at the Molson Amphitheater - which I liked a bit more because the audio was of higher quality. You could hear the music and the vocals clearly). Whereas at this concert the bass was much too loud and drowned out everything else. Despite an incredibly LOUD show, I was still able to have an amazing time. The boys themselves were simply a joy to watch on stage. Handsome and talented, they took the stage with an unbelievable presence. You could not take your eyes off them if you tried. They were humorous and engaging. The way they each took the time to look out into the audience and interact with the fans was so sweet. Watching the fans close to the stage go wild when Harry threw water on them or even handed out water bottles was adorable (and maybe even caused a little jealousy). They constantly made it clear that those farther from the stage were not ignored. This was made especially clear when they stood on a platform that took them over the whole floor seat section and right to the back. I couldn't believe my eyes when I realized how close they were getting to me! Once they were about 20 feet in front of me, the platform stopped and they sang their song. I was going crazy on the inside!! Then I waved at Harry and he saw me and waved back (MAJOR swooning moment!). It was so nice of them to give the whole room that front-row vibe. Overall, the night was perfect. The talent was unbelievable, the ambiance was amazing, and the energy was contagious. Next time they are in town, I HIGHLY recommend seeing them live!
I must say these young boys can sing!! I took my daughter to her first concert and she was just mesmerized by the entire experience. The moveable stage was great so the fans at the end of the arena had an opportunity to get a closer view of them as well. Well done!! The only thing I would recommend to the concert organizer would be to indicate whether or not posters are permitted into the venue or not. All these young girls made some wonderful creations and they were simply taken away and thrown away at the door. I totally understand the reason why, so the concert goers would not have an obstructed view, but advance notice would have been appreciated.
The whole day was a great, fun experience! There was a lot of waiting due to a delay in schedule from bad weather, but aside for this the show was spectacular!
This boy band is not long for the world. Unfortunately, they have lots of young girl followers who know all the songs and were happy to sing and dance to them all. Frankly, the audience was much more lively and interesting to watch than the band. They walked around on stage all night waving at their admirers while not really giving us a good concert. The only motion was the back drop /screen show behind them. They didn't really acknowledge their band that was actually doing all the work- these guys lack talent and showmanship. Money and fame has already gone to their heads..... My children and their friends all loved it....
Bought VIP tickets for this event for my daughter. Was extremely disappointed at the amount the sound check cost and what we received, 2 songs & a few questions, and we were waiting for a very long time to get in. However they put on a great show & my daughter loved it. 4 of the 5 members very friendly and really interacted with the crowd. Will probably purchase tickets for the next tour.
The concert was absolutely amazing , had a great time can't wait untill one direction comes back to Toronto
Concert was awesome! They sounded great and the show was the best I've ever been to!!
Show was fantastic - opening act was great and concert seemed to be a good length - although we could have stayed for another couple of hours! Love that the show was not strictly choreographed - but a lot of improv by the guys. They seemed like they were enjoying themselves also.
This was my first concert ever and I'm usually a little leery about spending money on a concert because I find a lot of the artists/groups sound different live and I just didn't know if I'd be interested. But I have wanted to see One Direction in concert I've seen that they do so many random things and they just make the performance really special and they're such lovely boys and their voices were beautiful live! The environment was amazing too! Seeing the crowd get so into it and their enthusiasm was just beautiful! It was an amazing experience and I hope someday I'll be able to see them in concert again. Also, the opening act was amazing as well!
I went with my daughter. I see alot of concerts and have the opportunity to interview some of these acts as part of my work. While the screaming teen girls would have been ok with "The Boys' just standing there all night... the sad truth is that these guys are tired. Harry Styles was visibly drunk and most of the others were fairly disinterested and going through the motions. Beyond the typical... Toronto is the best and you are the loudest ever.. not much to say. The biggest disappointment was the total lack of energy or passion these guys had. Gone is the fashion or style they had before. Instead white and black t shirts. No dancers, just the band hidden in the shadows. A happy birthday to the drummer was a nice touch but nothing else very interesting. Bottom line, the crowd did not care. These guys wont be able to keep a following more than a couple more albums.
Seeing as this was my first ever concert I didn't know what to expect. Being a HUGE fan of both 1D & their opening act, 5SOS, I was truly loving every second of the show. Long story short, I lost my voice by the end of the night from all the singing along & screaming to every. Single. Song. Even though I couldn't hear as properly as I should & lost my voice, I can definitely say that every thing from waiting over a year to spending a lot on merchandise was worth it all. Going to the concert made me fall in love with all of them more, if it was even possible. I would DEFINITELY love to see 1D & 5SOS again!
It was amazing and it kept me and my friends entertained and on our feet all night. The opening act was also good :)
The show was good but seemingly disorganized to enter the building and the show started later than anticipated. Opening act was ok, but main act 1D was great, lots of happy screaming girls in the house. Would like to see a more expanded stage though so they can be more interactive with audience.
All in all, it was pure perfection. 5SOS started the concert off with an amazing kick. When the boys of 1D came on, I literally lost my breathing. Best night ever, by far.
