  • Willie rocks!

by PT on 2019-06-25Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

We only caught the last two acts and they were great. Willie is the ultimate entertainer - surrounded but unlimited talent. I would see him again tomorrow if I could.

  • Amazing performances by Willie Nelson & Alison Krauss

by RickG on 2019-06-25Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing concert with Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers and others. Definitely high energy ! Willie had us singing. Alison has the voice of an angel. The Avett Brothers had us dancing. Really like the venue, the Budweiser Stage in Toronto. Quite a way to start the summer out !

  • Upgraded!!

by Melanie on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I had such a great experience at the Outlaw Festival! The best part was being upgraded for free to amazing seats where my friends and I were able to enjoy the show up close!

  • Underwhelming

by Munch on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Though Alison Krauss was amazing, others were just so-so. Avert Bros..disappointed. Would’ve loved to have Willie’s sons be part of the “family” on this bill...ie,.Lukas Nelson & his Band & Micah (Particle son) play a set as well. This year’s, Outlaw Fest (in Toronto) lacked another big talent. Last yr, Tedeschi/Trucks Band & Sturgill Simpson gave us our moneys worth. I feel Toronto audience was somewhat ripped off on talent....when other tour city’s offer up talent such as Bonnie Raitt, Robert Plant & Nathaniel Rateliff.

  • Sound was really off on the lawns

by somefan on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

The sound was horrible on the lawns. I've been to MANY concerts here and have never heard sound issues like this. The lawn's delay stack PA seemed to be out of sync with the main PA, and it made it practically un-listenable. I'm sure it sounded much better from the 400's and down, but for us in the lawns, it was BRUTAL.

  • WHAT WAS I THINKING

by Spanky on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

What was I thinking I believed the reviews. Alison Krause and her band were in excellent form with superb sound mix that allowed all the instruments to be heard and yet blend together for a full bodied sound and should have been given more time. She bumps the rating from 1 to 2 The Avett Brothers were tight and lively but didn't do anything for me sounding artificially frenetic. Willie struggled with his arthritic hands and an overly loud vocal and guitar mix it was painful to watch a master long past his prime.

  • Great music but couldn't see much

by Turquoise on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing music great performance! However i was in the balcony and the video had very few close ups of the musicians. They kept showing videos of the crowd. At a musical performance i only want to see whats on the stage. I dont want to see the audience.

  • Underwhelming Outlaw Festival

by Steve Colley on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Missed the first act but saw the rest. Matt Mays great but Allison Krauss’s sound mix was terrible and she didn’t once engage with the crowd. The Avett Brothers had the same issue with their sound mix, especially buried vocals. Will was solid. The stage setting for each artist was essentially nothing but the tour poster behind them. The food & drink was standard fare and nothing unique, as expected, for this festival. The merch tent ran out of core sizes on popular shirts midway through the night. Really a poor night.

  • Too bad it was a Friday...

    by T. N. on 2019-06-24Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Outlaw in Toronto was on a Friday this year. Attendance was low. All tickets could get an upgrade - maybe have a festival that starts at 4:30 on a Saturday instead! Loved it all. Will go again - as long as Willie keeps on kickin’ - 86 and still going!
