Good time but not a long time

    by t. S. on 2019-08-08Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The show started 2 hours late and only lasted maybe 2 hours. It was a great show but given how expensive tickets were I would have liked some more time with Drake

    Awesome!!

    by A. D. on 2019-08-08Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The American Express entrance is a great idea!!! You definitely needs my garbage/recycling facilities! Also, more than one/two exits!!! Too over-crowded while leaving the venue!

This is by far the best concert I have ever been to. All the artists Drake brought out were amazing. I will definitely be going next year again.

Short lines and fast service. Great sound, even in the back.

The first Caribbean edition of OVO FEST was lit

by Kikz on 2016-08-02TD Echo Beach - Toronto

It was a great birthday for me as the full list of performers apart from Machel Montano included Kes the Band, Kranium, Sean Paul, Mavado, Voice and Olatunji. For me it was the perfect balance between soca and reggae. I'm a fan of the music and it's a part of my culture so I was proud to see these artists being exposed to a greater crowd that may not be too familiar with it. The crowd was excited with the surprise guests, especially Mavado who filled in the place for Beenie Man (king of dancehall). The only negative was that it was right after the parade and although they recommended us to come in with our costume that window of time was not long enough. They definitely need to start it later, at least 8pm. Also, Beenie who was originally set to perform, made a lot of people not want to go. .

    First year I was disappointed

by tyzachkia on 2014-12-17Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I have been to all Drake events and have never missed an OVO fest. Every year I can't imagine how it could get any better. Every year it did. This year was a disappointment. Outkast was great. I did not pay a large amount of money to watch Drake's newbies. If that is going to be the norm then I think the fans should be given the choice to attend depending on who will be attending. As well in 2013 we were promised a bigger venue. OVO fest has grown out of the Molson Amphitheater. The big problem is that the best seats are not available at Ticketmaster at the time of sale. So many of the tickets are available before at various websites that charge you well over cost.

    It wasn't OVO

by Alveda on 2014-08-06Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I went to an AMAZING outkast concert... unfortunately, it was NOT OVO. There was one opener, who wasn't even anyone, and then we wanted almost an hour and a half for outkast to come out. There could have been at least 1 act in the time we were waiting. I wanted to go to OVO because there's always amazing acts that come out. The event said "OVO featuring outkast" but there was only Outkast. Luckily I am an outkast fan, but I am very turned off from OVO

The show was awesome like every year, but the prices were ridiculous and the tickets sell out too fast.

    OVO Fest

by Anonymous on 2014-02-23Canadian Molson Ampitheatre - Toronto, ON

OVO Fest is incredible each year. This is a must go-to concert. Agree with one of the reviewers, there were very many empty seats for a "sold out" show.

This concert was truly one of the best I had seen, and I've been to numerous concerts as I truly have a love for music. I only went to the show last year (2013) but there were so many incredible, legendary, unexpected guests, and Drake consistently has does this year after year. Diddy, Ma$e, Wale, TLC, Cole, French Montana, Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Miguel, Big Sean, Kanye West, The Weeknd etc. DEFINITELY A GUARANTEE GREAT TIME, GREAT ENERGY AND GREAT SHOW.

    Best of the best

by Tori15 on 2013-11-17Molson Amp Theater - Toronto

Words can't describe how live it was. The crowd and the electricity in the atmosphere, even before we all knew who would show up, was intense. Amazing time, I'll never forget it. History was made that night.

Drake truly makes the show a festival affair. With all the special guests, you can't lose. A perfect evening. Can't wait until next year, OVO truly rules!

    Concert of the year!!

by AnitaJ on 2013-08-10Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

This was my first year making it out to OVO Fest. I've always wanted to go before but it never worked out (ie: sold out & no one to go with). I am a BIG Drake fan, and loved his music since day one.. So I was off the bat excited about going to this concert. Now it said "sold out" show, however there were lots of empty seats in front of us and behind us which was sad! I would have bought better seats if it were up for grabs! The line up Drake had was AMAZING! Definitely worth it even if you're not a big Drake fan.. He brought something for everyone! James Blake opened, with Wale.. And then the party started! TLC was there; sang waterfalls, scrubs & fanmail. Kanye West also made an appearance and sang about 2 songs; All of the Lights & New Slaves. The lineup was amazing.. J.Cole, Wale, Miguel, Big Sean, French Montana, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne & more! Meanwhile all this was going on, Drake would sing in songs if it was remixed with him, or be on the sides dancing it up.. Near the end, it was ALL Drake! He sang a mix of his old school songs and newer songs too. He ended off the night with playing "Started From The Bottom". Great song to end the night with. It was definitely a unforgettable time.. I plan on going next year just to see what else he has planned!
