  • Incredible Soccer

The game against Halifax showcased how much the game has moved forward in speed, technical ability and quality of play.It is wonderful to have this in Victoria and in Canada.I played soccer on and off as an adult due to my job, seafarer, but as a kid in Nova Scotia, played a lot and had dreams of playing professionally. This is a huge step taken to help out the newer generation make their dream come true,All I can say is:Go,Pacific,Go.The atmosphere at the game was incredible.

  • My First Live CPL Game Match - v. Edmonton

by Andy on 2019-09-17Westhills Stadium - VictoriaRating: 4 out of 5

I reside in Comox after moving here from Regina SK in August. There is no CPL Team in Saskatchewan. I took along with me 3 boys - my son's 16 & 12 plus a friend (16). We drove 2 1/2 hours in pouring rain pretty much all the way on the Malahat. To give context - Regina to Saskatoon is 2 1/2 hours to drive but far less scenic. We arrived in Langford/Westhill - the rain had abated - to find a brand new beautiful event stadium with plenty of parking. Our seats were the lowest end of the price range. But, soon found out, in reality there isn't really a bad seat in the whole stadium. The venue and all its amenities is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the game! I would drive the kids again 2 1/2 hours in the rain to watch Pacific FC play again. I like the fact that local Canadian Kids make up the core or contingent of the team. 3 of the kids playing for the squad I actually played with their fathers (70's/80's) at a very high level. I like the fact that because of this philosophy Canadian kids are getting a chance to play at this level, showcase their talents and the league. I enjoyed the pace, the skill, tactics employed by both teams. To tell you the truth I found the game more entertaining than when I watch the Whitecaps and their style of play. And its harder to identify with the WCFC players because they keep changing and come from Soccer Playing Countries far, far, away. Not everyday household names. The only thing I found confusing was the Ticket Price Ranges. Why such a vast, variable range for ticket prices?. I think the ticket prices overall are too high. When virtually every seat except box and bleachers are the same. I paid $35.00 per ticket. I believe to fill the venue ticket prices should be a lot less and range from $16.50 to $26.50 - Box would be higher. I'd like to know the thinking behind the decision to price out tickets in such a wide, variable and high range. I think I have paid less for Whitecap Tx in the past. Despite the ticket prices and the 2 1/2 hour drive I will come again.

  • Epic Canada Day Match!

    by J. L. on 2019-07-04Westhills Stadium - VictoriaRating: 5 out of 5

It was a beautiful day, not too hot but the sun was shining. It was Pacific vs Calgary. The game was heated at times with Calgary getting a bit handsy. The ref earned his money on this game! Some amazing plays, shots and penalty kicks. In the end Pacific won 3 to 1!!! Pacific's goalie was on fire! He made a couple of tremendous saves including one right on the goalie line with the other team pretty much on top of him. We got family seats and still had a clear view of the game. Overall, an epic football match and Canada Day celebrations 🇨🇦

  • PFC game experience

    by A. B. on 2019-06-26Westhills Stadium - VictoriaRating: 3 out of 5

    1. Need a more diverse offering of food (eg, would like to see a bit more health conscious... mexican, or greens, or fish, etc). 2. Need seating area with tables where children are allowed to eat. Not fair that there were two section for adults ONLY, even though one of the sections was not serving alcohol. 3. My children and I (and we're small people) found the stadium seats to be incredibly small, almost uncomfortable. 4. Need two or more mini donut or desert trucks. The line up for donuts was extremely long and never ending for the entire game. 5. The team energy of the players was electric and the game itself was exciting and fantasticly energetic! Even though PFC lost, the game was full of action through to the end.
