About

PARTYNEXTDOOR IN CONCERT:

Drake protégé PartyNextDoor is an enigmatic figure who shies from interviews and doesn't like to divulge many personal details about himself. In concert, however, he lays it all on the line with mesmerizing, sexually-charged performances that prove he's a star on the rise. Blending melodic vocals, heavy bass, and spacey synths, he makes envelope-pushing R&B tracks similar to fellow OVO Sound artist The Weeknd. The minimalism and laid-back vibes of his recorded work translates seamlessly to the stage, where he transfixes concertgoers with his self-assured attitude and stunning vocals. From the slow burner "Sex On The Beach" to the bumping "SLS", PartyNextDoor's music is turning heads and making concertgoers eager to catch him on his 2015 world tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

PartyNextDoor, aka Jahron Brathwaite, is quickly becoming one of R&B's hottest up-and-comers. The Mississauga-born artist got his start making EDM-tinged R&B tracks and releasing them online under his own name. His early work caught the attention of R&B icon Drake, and at 19 Braithwaite became the first signee on Drake's OVO Sound label, a Warner Bros Records imprint that has since signed artists including The Weeknd, Majid Jordan, and OB O'Brien. In 2013 he made his debut as PartyNextDoor with a self-titled album, which landed at No. 6 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. Later that year he joined Drake, Future, and Miguel on the road for Would You Like A Tour? and contributed background vocals on two tracks from Drake's critically acclaimed third album, Nothing Was The Same. In 2014 he released his sophomore album PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO -- which features the Drake-assisted single "Recognize" -- and hit the road for a 14-date North American tour. He finished off the year by surprising fans with the four-track PND Colours EP and announcing a world tour slated for 2015.

    Terrible

by Sabzsh on 2017-08-08Cabana Pool Bar - Toronto

Terrible live performers - came out for 5 minutes and you could not see them performing as there was a crowd huddled around them on stage. Definitely not worth my money at all and I want a refund.

    PartyNextDoor - Great performance! BUT..,

In spite of the no booth or balcony ticket purchase options it really affected the overall feel for the entire show. I was able to enjoy most of the show before there were fights and pushing in the area where I was standing. I usually have an enjoyable time watching a show at this venue however for some reason I did not enjoy it as much as I could have. His performance was amazing, I'm hoping he tours again at a bigger venue maybe with a 19+ guest min. or options to make balcony ticket purchases at REBEL.

So I was notifed that jerimah wasn't going to be there a few nights before the actual show, didn't think that was a big deal till I get to the event and for literally over an hour and a half I'm just being pushed and shoved (they were GA tickets) listening to random tracks. Partynextdoor then came on at 10 and he played for an hour on the dot then dipped. Overall the show was pretty not worth it tbh. He is a sick artist and his voice is so heavenly but not worth being felt up and shoved and time wasted just waiting for him.

Artists were great - upset Jermiah cancelled last minute as he was a huge reason why I purchased the tickets. However, the venue wasn't the greatest. All ages was not advisable... tons of kids pushing and almost fights breaking out due to this. My hair was pulled, drinks spilled. Bad idea for concerts

    Amazing

by PNDDDD on 2014-11-15Virgin Mobile Mod Club - Toronto

I waited in line for 7 hours but being able to touch both Drake and Partnextdoor on my birthday was unbelievable! The people were a bit rude but that was because everyone was trying to push to the front where I was. The security at the venue was quite rude and unfair, but overall PND was just unbelievable and so good live. Drake was nothing less than amazing and even his DJ was good (and smoking hot). Definitely recommend this to any ovo lover~
