    Nothing special

by Yiayia on 2017-04-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Popular children's characters brought to stage. Packed house. Found it entertaining but much too long for the audience. Also hard to follow the characters.

    Peppa Pig was Amazing

by avirel on 2017-04-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

To see the look on our 3 year olds face when the characters first appeared on stage was worth the price of admission. She had an amazing time up dancing and singing along and so did both her father and I. I would recommend this show for sure.

    Worth every dollar

    by Kim114 on 2017-04-20Hamilton Place - Hamilton

The overall experience was superb. There were many mesmerizing moments such as; passing the ball, finding dinosaur, and of course the jumping in the puddle. The front row audience had the pleasure of getting wet, not once but twice. That was shocker. My son who is 22 months was very responsive and interacting and singing to that tune "bing bong bing" He loves that part. I had purchased him a souvenir for keep sake which was the George Wind Fan. $20.00 I wanted to get him the George T-shirt which was $30.00 however didn't have his size. (which I was quite glad) The complaint in regards to not hearing with a poor star rating must be the venues fault not the Peppa Production because to me everything was smooth sailing. The show started on time too which was awesome. Because my 22 month old can only stay put for an hour or so.

    Waste of Money!!

by Anonymous on 2017-04-17Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I took my 4 year old daughter to see Peppa Pig. She was a big fan, but not anymore! We were sitting on the top balcony and couldn't hear what the actors were saying, so needless to say it's hard to keep the kids engaged. Not sure if the sound system was meant for the top balcony. Keep in mind, tickets aren't cheap, we ended up paying over $50 per ticket. We rarely go to kids events as they are not really affordable, so I thought this would be a special outing for my daughter, but turns out it was just a waste of money. Plus the main characters were not mascots, they were puppets and you could see the actors behind them. This also turned my daughter off, as now she knows they aren't real. Really disappointing! Don't waste your money.

    Mediocre at best

by Bex9 on 2017-04-16Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

The show started late. With a bunch of young kids, that's bad. Kids are impatient. The show goes for 30 mins. Then an intermission. Half the crowd left at that point. Then there is another 30 minutes of show. Poor quality sound at the venue. For the cost of these tickets, it was NOT worth it. Very disappointing.

My son loved it, however it was very difficult to understand anything they were saying. The acoustics were terrible for this type of show, very high pitched and we couldn't make out most of the words. Like I said, my son loved it, but it was not easy on the ears.

    Rip off

by shrub on 2017-04-16Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

This was a total rip off! We didn't get to meet and greet, there was no pink carpet, there was no conseiauge room, just water that wa put into a container with cheap styrofoam cups, we had no snack there was nothing left apparently asking other parents all it was was granola bar, boxed raisens, we have to go on line to get our picture. No gift pack like mentioned,, really disappointed! $500.00 ! What a shame

We were up on the second balcony and could not hear about 80% of the show. Most of the characters were waist high with people dressed in black controlling them from behind. The characters mouths didn't even move. I expected more as we have gone to other kids shows that have cost considerably less and have been much higher quality.

    Good Show,some issues

by Mayatree on 2017-04-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Time of the event was at rush hour so made it hard/impossible to get there on time. This created difficulties with parking etc. The show was entertaining for the kids which was great. Intermission was not necessary, as it was hard to get the kids focussed after the fact. Also , keep them entertained during.

    Really expensive

by Jessers on 2017-04-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Although sweet and endearing, this show was outrageously expensive for what you got. Overpriced merchandise as well.

    Very amateur

by Piggyy on 2017-04-14Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Stage set was extremely poor quality, plywood and cardboard construction. Most characters had people visibly operating them from the outside (not what I expected for the ticket price). Cardboard fruit on sticks being held by a person ducking behind a fruit stand prop is just one example of how amateur the production was.

Peppa Pig Live - awful for parents and kids

by CalgaryMom2017 on 2017-04-13Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Really awful story lines, some were difficult to follow. High pitched voices (especially when they were shrill) of actors/actresses were very difficult to understand. Ushers allowed patrons to walk in and walk out of the auditorium throughout the show which was very distracting. Would not ever attend a Peppa Pig show again!

    Peppa Pig Live huge disappointment!!

by MaxB on 2017-04-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Peppa Pig Live was a huge disappointment. People pushing around the characters was lame and less than impressive for a 4 year old. Waste of time and money!

    Dissapointed

by ducklup on 2017-04-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We purchased 5 tickets to this event as a Christmas present for our son and 2 nephews. By intermission the kids were so bored we had to leave. Production and content of the show was disappointing.

    Peppa Pig Live was disappointing

by MaxSilver on 2017-04-12Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Unfortunately Peppa Pig Live was a massive disappointment. The voice actors they chose tended to sound nothing like those on the show, and were generally pretty obnoxious sounding. There was zero overarching plot line, and very little humor, both of which are the key aspects involved in making the television show so enjoyable. During the second half of the performance it seemed that all of the kids in the building were getting pretty restless, as frankly the stage show is very boring. My 4 year old daughter, who is a huge fan of the show, was bored for most of the show which is very telling on how poor of a production this is. Given the prices for tickets for this show, the low amount of effort put into this production is very disappointing.

    Terrible Experience!

by Flossey on 2017-04-10Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I purchased tickets to this event a long time ago and took my niece and god daughter, who are both 4 years old. When we arrived at the theatre the line up to get in was blocks long, and everyone in the line up was complaining about the long wait to get into the theatre. When we finally got into the theatre I was shocked to see the show had already begun, this was just moments after 6pm. It took us over 10 minutes to find someone to usher us to our seats, but we did finally make it there. Imagine my surprise to find a bunch of grown men and women on stage holding puppets, I thought at the very least the puppets would be life size with people inside the costumes, this would have made the entire show much more plausible. I thought perhaps it was just me as I am an adult but when both my girls said it wasn't good I figured it wasn't even good enough to keep two 4 year olds engaged. Anyways, it was an awful production and terrible experience, I was very disappointed as were both my girls. After seeing Beauty and the Beast there years ago, which was fabulous, I suppose my expectations were too high. I will think twice before seeing another show there.
