I loved this concert. He performed all the songs on the Frampton Comes Alive album in order. Plus a nice mix of his other Grammy winning songs, some new songs, and some tunes from his Humble Pie days. He’s an amazing guitar players and he poured his heart and soul out on stage. And gave the crowd a night to remember. Two thumbs up for this one. Well worth seeing!

Peter Frampton's guitar playing and singing only gets better with age! His band is also fantastic. I enjoyed the concert and had excellent seats. My 16 year old daughter prefers Frampton's newer material. I enjoyed both the Frampton Comes Alive set which he played in it's entirety and the new material. The 3 hour show was just great. Frampton's humour always entertains me as well. I would highly recommend that any guitar enthusiast check out Peter Frampton's playing - absolutely outstanding!

Outstanding show. Too bad a lot of people came out to see Peter perform Frampton Comes Alive and didn't stick around for the second half. That's when we go to see one of the world's finest guitarists at work. Add some covers of Humble Pie, Soundgarden and Beatles, and it was a memorable evening.

Music was great and I have to admit being 55 years of age that I like his newer music from Winston Churchill and Finger prints better than the Frampton Comes Alive music which I grew up on !! One major disappointment was that the crowd seemed more intent on walking around and visiting than they did listening to the music at times.

  • 2nd part was just amazing

It was great! Peter played amazingly for 3 hours. He may have lost his golden locks but not his talent with a guitar. Overall, one of the most enjoyable concerts I've been to recently!

  • frampton ROCKED!!!

    by earth1964 on 2011-07-11Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

the molson amphitheatre is my fave place to see a concert....always. did not disappoint this time. as for Mr. Frampton, he is simply amazing! at 61 yrs of age, he sounds nearly as good as he did at 26, in 1976. to hear the frampton comes alive album was brilliant. what really surprised me was his guitar playing.....i admit i did not know of his virtuosity on the guitar. having never seen him, only listening to his album as a very young girl, i was ignorant of this amazing talent. as much as i loved the album re-play, it was the more than 1 hour of music after the intermission that really impressed me. his entire band was supremely talented and he allowed them to showcase their talents on stage. i will be going to my nearest 'record' store & buying a more recent release of his so that i can listen to that amazing guitar......he truly makes it sing!!! would see him again, most definately.

I became a fan of peter Frampton while studying at night during University. The PFCA album is one I listen to regularly. It was a bit nostalgic as 35 years later my son is finishing university and is a fan of PF. Unfortunately, he couldn't be there. The show started on time, an excellent reproduction of the original album. I had never realized how good a guitarist he was. Amazing.

What an amazing show! Thank you Peter Frampton for being such amazing guitarist and singer and performer of all time. I waited years to see you live because when I bought the Frampton album in the 70's, i was only 16. I still have the vinyl album at home and I was so glad that I was able to see you perform live. God bless you and keep rocking!!!!!!

What an amazing concert! I'm so glad I was a part of this great evening where the band and the audience were all having a great time. I've been a fan for many years and I love that he played a nice mix of both old and new songs. The guitar playing was amazing and I love that Peter interacted with the audience. Hope he comes back soon.

Still has his voice intact. His guitar skilled are even better than 30 years ago. I loved his version of Chris Cornell song with Sound Garden and his interpretation of George Harrison "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

Great guitar rock surprised that he still uses a cord whereas most guitarists have gone wireless. Entertaining mixture of old and new music. Fans of Frampton comes alive will love the squawk talking. The small venue had him really interacting with the audience having a good time.

  • Frampton @ Massey Hall

by tinto on 2010-07-23Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed it, but thought Mr. Frampton seemed a bit ill at ease when it came to talking with the audience. Was disappointed that he didn't play more from his Fingerprints album, would have loved to hear Float. Had to leave after the first (only ?) encore, so I don't know if he played that, but also would have loved to see him do an acoustic session. Wonderfully talented guitarist....but came away feeling he could somehow showcase that talent better.

  • Frampton Comes Alive - Again

by Vonni on 2010-07-23Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible show. With the intimate setting he really played with the audience. I haven't seen him so relaxed and at ease in many years. He played for 2 1/2 hours with his fabulous band...lots of old mixed with new. Lots of great instrumental, guitar solos. Just an all out fabulous evening. So sorry it's over.

  • Wonderful!

Backed by a very tight band, Pete mixed interesting new songs with the great songs of yore. His guitar playing has improved over the years (he was an adept in the early days as well). Don't miss an opportunity to see these guys! They can all play.
