FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
Phish are the ultimate psychedelic jam band, and they've got the diehard fanbase to prove it. Beloved for their commitment to the counterculture, killer improvisation skills, and quirky on-stage antics, the band never lets their "Phans" down in concert, and their 2013 shows celebrating their 30th anniversary were no exception. Cranking out marathon sets of three decades worth of hits, the band triggered more than a few out-of-body experiences at their recent shows, leaving fans with a hunger that can only be satiated with another helping of Phish as they hit the road for more tour dates in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed at the University of Vermont in 1983, Phish started out playing Grateful Dead covers and distributing numerous home-recorded tapes before getting serious with 1988 double album Junta. By the early '90s, the band had developed a unique performance style that incorporated extensive audience participation, the use of secret languages, and jumping on trampolines while playing their instruments, further fueling their ever-growing cult popularity. By 1993, they were headlining festivals and selling out Madison Square Garden, foreshadowing the continued success they would enjoy as their quasi-mythical reputation continued to grow throughout the decade. Reuniting after a brief hiatus from 2004-2008, the band continues to treat their loyal fans to their legendary live shows on tour in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Unbelievable show! Phish came out like a juggernaut and never let up once during two powerhouse sets. Opening with a one-two punch of "Funky Bitch" and "Wolfman's Brother," the band quickly let the audience know they were bringing their A-game."
"The show was a true celebration of the band's 30 year anniversary! All the songs they played were phish originals--no covers, which is very rare for them. As always, the sound and energy were unsurpassed."
"The boys did not disappoint.....they came out with all guns blazing and fired out two blistering sets and a triple encore !"

Incredible show as usual. Amazing start and they never slowed down. Best band in the land.
It was at last my first one and now the first of more to come. Check for a pulse if this didn’t at least make you sway!
Fantastic performance and so happy to see a lot of phisheads came out to show their support. :) I‘m relatively new to the band and wish I had heard of them sooner. They’ve definitely been an inspiration to me as a new guitarist as they are all amazingly talented musicians in their own right. Love that they live film all their shows too so you can always go back and watch the whole concert again if you want to. Will be supporting them in the future and hope they come to Toronto again soon!
Great first set with a meandering second, laced with solid jams. Crowd had lots of energy and as communal as always. Another satisfying Phish show.
Although Phish came on 35 minuutes late. As always they Rocked! 🎤🎸🎹🥁 The moment they came out. Everyone got up on their feet and stood the entire show. It was my 3rd time seeing them Live and definitely will Nor be the last time. High energy music & band! Phish ROCKS! 🎶
Phish is the best band ever. They should play Budweiser Stage every summer.
This band delivers nearly 3.5 hours of mind blowing music. Never will you hear four musicians in sync like these guys and their phenomenal jamming will take you to the moon and back. The Budweiser Stage is also such an amazing venue. Great seats, staff and gorgeous scenery.
Phish from the lawn. What else is there to say? It’s always a blast
For the only time ever in my 30 year Phish career I had to leave town the morning of the concert. Watched it online and have become increasingly upset as the days go by. Still can’t believe I missed it
We had an absolute blast at Phish, we really hope they come back soon! Maybe to the west coat this time! Would highly recommend at least going Phishing onetime in your life!
