Very disapointed with this production. The storyline was weak and so was the show. We love The Little Einsteins and they just jumped around eratically. Leo looked 40 years old. We had to wait until the end to see Mickey-- the whole reason for going. Not worth the money we spent for these tickets. The show was exactly the right duration though.... the only positive from my end.

    Disney Playhouse Live

by Ltldevl on 2010-01-26Rogers Centre - Toronto

My daughter enjoyed the show, but some parts of the show were sub par. Take Handy Manny's toys for example which just shake in a tool chest when they speak. Looked like a high school performance. This show was overpriced for what it offered.

The smile on my sons face unforgetable

by innie on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

Its nice to see a tv show come to live. I went with four children from ages 1.5 to 5 years old it is definetly a very small targeted group my 1.5 year old is too young to understand the five years old enjoyed but was not mesmerized like the 2.5 year old or the 4 years old . the lip singing was very anoiying but it did not bother the children overall it was a good story line worth it for the kids sake.

    Good family fun...very enjoyable!

by fads on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

We brought our kids to the Playhouse Disney Live on tour and it was a real hit. A very pleasant afternoon for sure. The kids enjoyed the audience participation, singing and dancing with their favourite playhouse characters. I loved that it was musical! The characters were great and very entertaining. Enjoyed the show very much!

    Playhouse Disney Live!!

    by Mom2Four on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by the show...although I must say, it was NOT as great as the DISNEY ON ICE shows. I would definitely recommend the show to those who have kids that are familiar with the characters and watch Playhouse Disney. It was refreshing to see "real people" play the parts of the characters (with the exception of course of Pooh, Tigger, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Donald)...I thought they did a great job getting the right people to look the part. I also really liked the way they did the Handy Manny part where the tools were portrayed like the "Famous PEOPLE Players" !! All in all...it was a very good show....although they really should decrease the cost of memorabilia and food...I mean, you couldn't even order chicken fingers & fries with Apple Juice...you were forced to purchase a COKE or ICE TEA (caffinated drinks for a children's show?!?!?!?) & if you wanted Apple Juice it was extra....mind you...this might be Rogers Centre's doing....but still...Disney's Merchandise is way overpriced!!!! $22 for light sabres are ridiculous!!!

    Playhouse Disney Live was great!

    by Momof3yo on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I took my 3yo son to the show at the Rogers Centre and it was great. He loved the show and was captivated from start to finish. There was a good balance of talking and singing. They got him involved as much as possible. As with anything Disney, the merchandise is very expensive though.

Painful for adults to watch, kids loved it.

by dempster on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I had two five year old girls who absolutely loved it. Darby, Little Einstein, and Handy Manny would have been better in a full costume similar to Mickey and Friends rather than the cheap wigs/costumes and lip synching. I would not recommend it...too much money and I definitely would not do it again.

    Playhouse Disney live on tour

by Reme on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

Not really what I expected from Disney I felt it was very amateur and not very entertaining. There was limited props and scenery not much to watch except for the characters who seemed to be amateurs. there was very little interaction with the audience. My daughter who is 4 enjoyed the show but we have seen disney on ice and it is far more spectacular and well worth the money the staging and character costumes are fabulous I didn't feel this was worth the money spent considering the price of the tickets are the same for both events.

    **Disney Playhouse Live**

by boys on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was ok, my son enjoyed it (he is 31/2). I found that it was too short. The items were so over priced. I will not recommend it to others.

My first 3 yr old show

by tuffcooky on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I have never seen my 3 year old so concentrated and didn't ask to go home at all. The only think I am not too happy about is there is this breeze that came from above and I had to keep my daughter in her jacket and hat.

    disney playhouse

    by jj77 on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

I have gone to see the disney on ice, that was a great show, i found that the disney pleayhouse live was not entertaining at all in comparison, and ticket prices were about the same price especially considering that the show was half the time and much less people performing the show should have been significantly cheaper. Also when they brought out the mickey characters where was daisy?all my kids were saying the whole time was that. they really need to work on the entertainment standard and the price of the tickets should refelct the show and this shows tickets should have been $30 topw each compared to the $55+ that was payed. not enjoyable or worth my time

Diney Playhouse was good up until....

by Lilard on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

... the second half, our view was obstructed by an unflatable, from that point on we saw nothing unless the characters came to the edge of the stage so can't really tell you how the second half was. We felt we were back in the day when rather then watching t.v. you listened to the radio. Very disappointed!!

I thought the show was good. Just a little disappointed that Mickey and his friends did not have a lot of show time. I find this with all of the shows we have brought our son to. Mickey Mouse is our son's favorite character and his time on the shows are very limited.

    Great entertainment!

by ritzcrackers on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

Playhouse Disney live was great. My 3yr old just loved it. I enjoyed watching her eyes light up when she saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse (her favorites). She danced and sang along with all the characters and their songs. I would definately recommned this show to anyone who has a preschooler or toddler. Every kid there enjoyed the show.

    Short and boring show

by mamas on 2010-01-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

SHORT AND BORING SHOW! The price of ticket should be at least half price. The character doesn't look proportion, even my kids at 2 and 4 years old can tell.
