We had the VIP package and I would recommend it! In fact I would buy the same package again! The food was great,service was great and the bands were awesome! With the package we got a front row experience that we will never forget! Please let there be an annual Prairie Jam Festival,I would go every year and bring people with me!
Whole day was great. Only thing that would have been better is if Zac Brown had done an encore.
Awesome show! The whole day was amazing! Zac Brown band was awesome. Only one band I didn't prefer but still was good. :) Great job. Can't wait until next year! There were a lot of empty seats due to people being by the stage on floor level which would have been a better view for us wanting to not be on the floor level. Would have purchased those instead of being farther away. All in all we did have good seats and an ok view so I shouldn't complain :) Just wish I could have been closer to the band!
so enjoyed Prairie Jam. Seating was a little blocked for seeing the main stage due to scaffolding and cameras. Did not know that when tickets were bought. We moved over a section when ZBB started, as the images were not being shown on the big screens, and had a great view. The musicality of this group is outstanding, and very true to what they record. A great venue to be introduced to the other groups that performed also.
It was a great event. Well run, nice weather, very organized. I enjoyed the 2 stages and the time frame between acts were perfect. We were in the pit against the stage and it was really cool. When going up for food I looked at the view from the seats and I personally wouldn't have watched it from there. Only thing that might have been nice is a few porta potties at field level so people didn't have to go all the way upstairs between acts.
All around great time. Zac Brown Band gave an awesome performance! One of the best concert I have been too... would highly recommend.
Loved Zac Brown, wish they played a half hour longer and played 4 more great songs that I love and they didn't play. Was really surprised and impressed with Walk of the earth.
Until Walk of the Earth and The Zac Brown Band played I was pretty disappointed with the concert. Many of the earlier bands did a lot of covers, which is normally nice but when you're only playing for 40 minutes I want to hear your stuff. One of the bands, which is who I was really looking forward to seeing, even finished their set 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. However, Walk off the Earth was great and got everyone up on their feet and The Zach Brown Band was AMAZING! I will definitely go see those two bands in concert again.

The Zac Brown Band was awesome!! We bought tickets strictly to see them. And it was worth it!! Walk Off the Earth was also good. Next year get a few bigger acts...it's a nice option for those who can't do Countryfest.
The music was absolutely amazing and the artists did great performances. I particularly enjoyed Zac Brown Band, Walk off the Earth and Townsend Square.
i went to this event with my sister. We were inline at 1:30 and stayed until the end of Walk Off The Earth's set. (This made for a good 8 hours of music). It was a little dissapointing that we were told doors opened at 2, and then we ended up waiting way longer just to be told that we were in the wrong line..when the line we were in was set up and ready to go. Once inside, things got easier. it was a goreous day and we had a good time. I came with the soul purpose of seeing WOTE live, and they were as entertaining to watch as all their videos on YouTube. Overall, the weather was good, the bands were all amazing live, and I would definitely return if this were to come back to Winnipeg.
Amazing musicians capped off the day. Walk Off the Earth was the perfect set-up to the Zac Brown Band. Such great live acts, with shows not about the flash, but about the music and performance. I'd see either of them again in a heartbeat.
Zac Brown was good, but he didn't play very long. We knew only 2 other artists, so we only got there in time for Zac Brown. I don't think we missed much. Our Seats were HORRIBLE! We originally had decent seats, but then you moved us behind the stage! Terrible. Not sure why you would think this is acceptable for $108 ticket? I think we paid WAY too much for the Horrible seats. I can't imagine staying there all day for $5.50/drink. If you're going to try this again, get some good bands for the afternoon, maybe people would go.
Prairie Jam 2014 was a good start as far as a music festival. The bands were great but too rushed. Paying these bands to come here and only giving them 30 or 40 minutes is disappointing. Pay them a bit more, recruit bigger talent and let them play. An example was the headliner, Zac Brown who only played for 90 minutes. Compare this with some of their other concerts and the fans were robbed of another hour from one of today's top Country bands. Walk off the Earth was a great band but I don't think they fit in the Country genre. The second stage idea is a great one BUT the sound was terrible. If you are going to have so many fans on the floor, then get them some washroom facilities. Good effort; looking forward to next year.
