PGSO's Carmina Burana was AMAZING!!!
by MusicLovingMomOf5 on 2015-02-25Vanier Hall - Prince GeorgeThis was a truly special concert. Seeing the Tapestry children's choir open the show with the Vancouver Chamber Choir was lovely. The wall of sound during the opening and closing songs of Carmina Burana was impressive! The soloists were great - particularly the soprano! The PGSO was wonderful and skilled as they navigated all the different types of pieces. The whole concert was thoroughly entertaining, but my favourite aspect was absolutely the children's choir! Their choral quality was beautiful and the symphony conductor's inclusion of them was endearing :) The whole concert left me so happy and wanting more :) Well done!
