I brought my 3.5 year old to see Raffi. I grew up on Raffi and my son loves him too so it was a really special experience for the both of us. Raffi is amazing and we loved every minute.
Hamilton’s First Ontario Concert Hall is a great facility. Although we were half way back in the first balcony, the sight lines were good and the acoustics outstanding. With the number of small children, and grandparents in the audience it was appreciated that the level of sound was perfect and not too loud. I enjoyed the simplicity of the concert - no background videos or characters in costume which let the audience focus on listening and singing along with Raffi. Raffi has kept his voice and ability to relate to children and adults of all ages. The concert was just over an hour which was perfect timing for the age and attention spans of the young children. It may not be the opinion of all but I found it refreshing that there was no Raffi- related merchandise for sale. The focus was on a children’s’ singer and the love of music.
Raffi is a national treasure that spans generations. We had 3 generations at his show and we all had an absolute blast. He’s entertaining, warm and loveable with just the right level of silliness. No matter how many times I see him, I leave feeling like a kid again.

Amazing showed performed by Raffi! For being 76 he still has it! Lots of energy and really had the crowd/kids involved. He is still so child friendly! Amazing show and would recommend to everyone to see him!
It was a great show- he did all the big songs and it was a very fin and family friendly experience. Kudos to the sound people, the sound was perfect, not too loud and very soft acoustics.
I bought 3 PIT meet and greet tickets and the tickets say seat 7 , 9 and 11 - does this mean seats 8 , 10 and 12 are for kids ? and 7 , 9 and 11 are for actually adults?
Even after 5 decades touring and entertaining families he still makes you feel like each show is special to him. Great show - we’d go back and see him tomorrow again.
Loved the children’s show. Raffi kept the children engaged for an hour and a half. I took my adopted son with intellectual difficulties. I was worried about getting him to his seat as he has mobility issues. A wonderful woman working the venue was so helpful. I needed help getting to our seats and she was right there to help. However. I was very disappointed when I noticed alcohol was being served at the auditorium. But it’s all about $$. Can people not refrain from alcohol for an hour and a half. Kids need a role model. Come on parents. Do better for your children.
Raffi never ceases to please his audiences of generations. Adults and kids alike swayed and danced in their seats. Great time!
Show was just fine, kids had a great time. But why did he have to ruin it by pushing his political opinions on the children at the end? If it was an adult show, fine, let your position be known. But these are just kids, sing your banana song, take your paycheck and go away.
This performance was everything we had hoped it would be! It felt magical to be a part of something that may never happen again. Raffi will always be a legend in the eyes of many. Thanks for a wonderful memory that we will forever share with our kids!

Great show. Loved sharing the music I grew up with with my daughter. She danced the whole time. Only complaint wish the show was a little longer.
Raffi is truly a wonderful children singer. His songs are melodic and fun to sing along. You don't have to be a child to enjoy his music.

One of my friends and I played a lot of Raffi records when we were teachers and decided to go to the concert together. The auditorium was filled with parents and kids. Raffi sculpted the hour, long performance well to keep those restless little bodies engaged. There was lots of singing along and good memories.
Our kids loved listen and watching Raffi perform. To be honest, my husband and I loved it as well. So much nostalgia.
I have been going to Raffi concerts for 45 years; yes, I'm a beluga grad, or more accurately a singable songs for the very young grad. His loveliness shines through in everything he does. His shows are low-key, singable and wonderful. I can't recommend him enough.
Raffi was amazing. I enjoyed him as much as my 4 year old. His stage presence is calming and entertaining for people of all ages.
