Randy Rainbow should be declared a national treasure…he is unique amongst other entertainers…he has it all…a quick wit, an amazing voice, brilliant commentary and an infectious sense of humour that keeps the audience screaming in delight…..his talents appear to be endless….don’t miss an opportunity to see him…you will not be disappointed!
Randy Rainbow for President was entirely entertaining and perfect for a smaller venue like Massey Hall. If you're familiar with and love his viral videos, then you will surely enjoy Randy live. It has been a long time since I've been to Massey Hall, and I found that the seats were too small (narrow and not very deep) for my father who is a heavier man. There were also moments where it was difficult to hear Randy clearly. I'm happy that the screen in the background had his videos playing simultaneously with subtitles.
You buy a SEAT in raked SEATING, you expect people to SIT. NOPE. All I saw for the whole gig was people's backs. I can't stand for 2.5 hours. I've never been to an arena where audience in the raked seating are not stewarded to sit (except perhaps for the encore which is unavoidable). A total waste of my money.
An excellent campaign presentation !!!!! Glad he came to Canada even for one night 2 hours if none stop singing A well thought out and very cleverly put together show Can I be greedy and wish it had been 3 hours Thank you Randy Rainbow for a wonderful evening in your company
I've been dying to see Randy Rainbow for years and was thrilled when I found out he was hitting Toronto on his campaign tour! The show was funny, flamboyant, and fabulous! Randy is naturally hysterical and we loved all the wardrobe changes, trump dump and perks back at some of his funniest schtick! Bravo! Randy's got my vote!! Bring on 2024!
Unfortunately we didn’t attend as my wife still is very uncomfortable in crowds with Covid on the rise again.
Randy Rainbow is incredible on video and even moreso on stage. He provided an amazing show full of music, satire, wit and sassy costumes. I would go back in a hearbeat.
I had trouble access my tickets on the Ticketmaster app on my phone. Figured it out. I had inexpensive tickets but was told at the Massey Hall venue that I could upgrade my tickets for no charged. The show was OK. I'd seen all his videos so it was nothing new and I wouldn't go again to see him dress up and lip sync to his videos. Good for him for turning his Trump era videos into a live show. I am happy for him, but would not do it again. PS The front Lights were partially out at Massey Hall making it look tackey
Thoroughly enjoyed the show,, Randy’s enthusiasm, his ability to wordsmith and his voice. One thing was disappointing, in that much of what was presented was already on Facebook. Not much new content. I think these shows were to test the waters so to speak with respect to what type of reception he would receive. The audience as a whole enjoyed his show and it was great to see him live. Hence I gave 4 stars. I hope he never loses his authenticity and his own obvious enjoyment.
