Great seats, great entertainers, but lousy sound system.

  • Rascal Flatts = fun!

by Leah on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Rascal Flatts was so much fun. The band and the vocals were so good. The venue has a really cool, small town vibe and is close to home but the food and drink choices leave a lot to be desired.

  • High energy, great crowd and incredible music!

High energy, great Abbotsford crowd and incredible music! Thanks Rascal Flatts!

  • Rascal Flatts Abbotsford Nov 1/19

    by I. W. on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

Great opening acts for this show. Headliner act sound was quite distorted with excessive decibel level altering the clarity of the vocals and speech. Nice mix of their biggest hits but all very altered from their original recordings as to update I’m guessing. I personally felt the “revised versions” were not an improvement on the original recordings that I have so enjoyed!! Nice to see them at this venue but I think their sound system was meant for a much larger setting than this one.

  • Love Abbotsford Arena - loved Rascal Flatts

by Mmmgood on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue - good parking - sound is adequate - too much alcohol - people coming and going all through the performance was the only distraction

  • Good intentions - But could be better

by Andy on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

Rascal Flatts are the best!!! But the sound quality was pretty bad. And I came to hear _Gary_ sing, and not tiredly let the audience do the choruses for him 🤷🏼‍♂️😋

  • Amazing!

Rascal Flatts were full of energy and very entertaining! The night was full of lots of singing and dancing

  • Fun night

by Avril on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

Two warm up bands were great! Rascal Flats had an awesome light show but music was not very country.. pretty wild and noisy.. not what they have been remembered for. All good but a bit disappointing.

  • Awesome show!

    by E. S. on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

First of all, Abbotsford Centre is an awesome place for a concert. So organized, lots of helpful, smiling staff and hardly a lineup for anything. The show itself was amazing...first time they have been here in 10 years and they didn’t disappoint! Great crowd too!

Rascal Flatts is one of my favorite country bands. I have seen them live 5 times but this was not their best performance. I didn’t like how they were getting the audience to sing a lot of the chorus to the songs. We pay to hear them sing. They also changed the beat to a lot of the songs and also thought how the show ended was terrible. Most bands end with one of the most popular songs but the last two songs they sand were defined not good ones. It was still a good show but not a great one.

  • Parking lot

by Caity on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

The experience was good, other than the back parking lot. I think there needs to be section by section let out. Too many aggressive drivers, also traffic would go more smoothly.

  • Too loud

by Barbie on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 4 out of 5

The music was great, however the volume of the band drowned out the singers. It would have been nice to be able to hear the words of the songs that the singers were singing.

  • Terrible sound

by Sue on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

This concert was disappointing. I’d been excited to see Rascal Flatts, but the sound was so terrible - Rascal Flatts’ voices were drowned out by the noise level of the instruments; at times we could barely tell what song they were singing as we couldn’t hear or understand the lyrics. Such a shame, when the best part about RF is their beautiful voices and harmonies. Steven Lee Olson sounded great, Aaron Goodwin was good too, but Rascal Flatts was distorted and sounded just like “noise.”

  • AMAZIMG

    by S. B. on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

It was everything I imagined it would be. I got the meet and greet and it was amazing. Wish I could re do the night over and over again!

  • Sadly disappointing

by MA on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

The instruments pretty much drowned out the singing. Too much crowd singing but that's on the entertainer, he kept pointing the microphone to the crowd, we went to listen to him not the crowd. Some people probably love thst but we didn't.

  • Fun and Energetic!

    by Ryan85 on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 4 out of 5

The opening two bands were great, but Rascal Flatts was super! Great energy and fun crowd. If the band reads this, I wish you would have played “Where You Are”!

  • Great concert!!!

by Red on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Over all the whole concert was awesome, the only downside was the 45 minute wait between Aaron Goodvin and the Rascal Flatts. Otherwise a great time.

  • Amazing time

by Tanis on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

I haven’t seen rascal flatts since they opened for Toby Keith many many moons ago!! It was an experience I shared with my daughter who listened to them growing up because I love them so much! Was definitely an incredible time! ❤️❤️

  • Great Performance

by Frosty on 2019-11-04Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert. All the acts put on a good show, but Rascall Flatts owned the stage. Entertaining from start to finish. Great tribute to the troops. Only complaint was sound quality from arena speakers.

  • Bass-ed out

by Cricket on 2019-11-01Sandman Centre - KamloopsRating: 2 out of 5

Well, I will say that Rascall Flatts themselves did a great job and I enjoyed their music. What of it I could hear properly. We had two main concerns that made this concert a disappointment for us: 1) The intermissions between acts was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. 30 minutes is WAY too long between. Especially between Aaron Goodwin and Rascall Flatts. The first was supposed to be the act to get the crowd energized and ready for the second. Instead, by the time Rascall Flatts finally got on, we'd almost fallen asleep. 2) the balance on the sound was WAY off. The Bass was by far overpowering the voices, to the point of shaking the seats. I love the voice that represent Rascall Flatts, but yet I could barely hear that voice. Couldn't even hear Aaron Goodwin. I like a good solid bass in my music, but this was ridiculous. Overall, didn't lose faith in Rascall Flatts, but did lose faith in Sandman Centre to be able to put on a good show.
